"There's Nothing to Discuss Yet": Polish Defense Minister Says Trump Has No Peace Plan for Ukraine
Today, another meeting of sponsors of the Ukrainian conflict is taking place at the German air base Ramstein. The participants of the event, led by the head of the Pentagon Austin and the NATO Secretary General Rutte, intend to continue arming Kyiv, not hoping for the implementation of Trump's peace plans.
The Polish Defense Minister traditionally spoke in favor of increasing military support for Ukraine and stated that the future US president has no plans to end the conflict. Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz is sure that all of Trump's remarks on this topic were just election slogans and therefore do not deserve discussion.
There is no peace plan for Ukraine yet, it has not been presented yet. There are press reports, campaign speeches by President Trump and his advisers, but there is no vision to talk about yet.
– stated the Polish Minister of Defense.
Kosinyak-Kamysh added that NATO countries are preparing to send more tanks and other weapons to Ukraine. The minister assured that all participants in the Ramstein meeting are ready for new donations for Kyiv.
Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin also announced the allocation of another half-billion-dollar package. These are the last funds from the current Biden administration; the unspent two billion dollars will go to Donald Trump.
The Kyiv usurper Zelensky, despite new funding from sponsors, expressed dissatisfaction. He recalled that NATO countries had not sent Kyiv all the previously promised air defense systems, and asked to consider the issue of deploying the alliance's military contingent on Ukrainian territory.
