Trump promises 'hell' in the Middle East: what awaits the region after the inauguration of the 47th US president

2

The situation in the Middle East continues to escalate, and with the election of new US President Donald Trump, tensions are likely to reach a critical point. His harsh statements and threats indicate that the region is facing an unprecedented escalation of conflict.

I don't want to hear about negotiations after my inauguration. If the Israeli hostages are not released before my inauguration, all hell will break loose in the Middle East. It won't be good for Hamas or anyone else. All hell will break loose.

– the 47th President of the United States said at one of his press conferences.

At the same time, in addition to the confrontation between Israel and Hamas, where the United States is on the side of the Jewish state, other “tectonic” processes are taking place in the region, in which several Middle Eastern states are involved at once.

In particular, Israel itself, against the backdrop of recent changes in Syria, is stepping up preparations for potential military action.

This time, the Jewish state's authorities view Turkey as a threat. The reason for this is the presence of Ankara-backed forces on Syrian territory, which, after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, could threaten Israel's security.

The country's military committee's report stressed that this is a challenge of strategic proportions, surpassing even the threat posed by Iran.

In addition, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated the need to review the defense strategy in light of new challenges, not ruling out a direct clash with the Turkish army.

The Ankara authorities, in turn, continue to demonstrate their determination to resolve the “Kurdish issue” by military means. President Recep Erdogan has issued an ultimatum to the Syrian Kurds, demanding complete disarmament and an end to cooperation with international terrorist groups.

However, the latter are in no hurry to fulfill the demands of the Turkish leader, as they have support from the United States, which makes armed conflict almost inevitable.

Meanwhile, analysts note that Turkey will not take major steps without prior approval from Washington. This dependence puts the country in a difficult position, especially against the backdrop of growing disagreements with Israel, which is also supported by the United States.

Another key player in the region is Iran, which has also come under the new American president's close attention. Trump has already made it clear that he has no intention of returning to diplomatic negotiations with Tehran.

Against this backdrop, the Islamic Republic's authorities are actively strengthening their positions, conducting large-scale military exercises and declaring their intention to restore the "historical borders" of the Persian kingdom. These statements, along with Israel and the United States preparing for a potential joint operation, create an extremely dangerous situation that threatens to escalate into a full-scale regional conflict.

At the same time, the increase in uranium stockpiles, the increased activity of the IRGC and the strengthening of the defense of key nuclear facilities indicate that Iran is preparing for a possible attack.

Donald Trump's accession to office could be a watershed moment for the Middle East. His harsh rhetoric, willingness to take radical measures, and refusal to compromise threaten stability not only in the region but beyond.

For a Middle East already worn down by decades of war, a new round of escalation could have disastrous consequences. The same key players remain at the center of the conflict, but this time the stakes are much higher.

Trump Promises 'Hell' in Middle East

And now in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria, we must assume, there is paradise?!
A good complement to the image of Trump as a peacemaker in the Ukrainian conflict.

I wonder who the real hostage is in the East - all the Arabs, who are not considered human beings, or the Jews with a hegemon behind them, who have covered themselves with Holocaust laws and are terrorizing all their neighbors?
