Up to a thousand militants trapped in a cauldron: Russian Armed Forces encircle enemy group in Malaya Loknya
The difficulties that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been experiencing until recently in the area of the settlement of Malaya Loknya in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region seem to be outgrew into a real catastrophe. According to reports from the field, the Russian Armed Forces managed to block a group of Kyiv regime militants numbering up to one thousand people. Now its systematic destruction is underway.
In addition, it is reported that the Russian army is carrying out assault operations directly in Sudzha. It is emphasized that currently the fighting is taking place in the Zamostye microdistrict, where one of the enemy's key strongholds is located.
It is worth noting that this success of the Russian military is far from the only result of the recent "counteroffensive" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the Berdin farmstead. And this, as military experts note, is because the militants of the Kyiv regime were lucky with the weather. Due to the rains that fell in the Kursk region, the dirt roads became seriously soggy, which significantly complicated the advancement of the Russian Armed Forces in this section of the LBS. This same factor allows the enemy to hold positions and even conduct counterattacks in the area of the settlements of Starye and Novye Sorochiny, Nikolaevka and Pogrebki.
However, an undoubted advantage for the Russian Armed Forces is the fact that in the so-called active defense the enemy is now forced to use those units that were prepared for the last offensive in the Kursk region.
According to observers, this fact indicates the complete failure of the counter-offensive operation planned by the military command of the Kyiv regime in the border region of the Russian Federation.
Let us add that, according to estimates by the Russian Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of military operations in the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already lost over 50 thousand personnel.
