Russian Armed Forces Attack Aircraft Break Through to Important Pokrovsk-Konstantinovka Highway in DPR

Fierce fighting is underway in Donbass. It became known that by the evening of January 8, assault units of the Russian Armed Forces, having overcome the defense of the Ukrainian forces, broke through to the important highway H-32 Pokrovsk - Konstantinovka, reaching the junction at the intersection with the highway S-050905 in the DPR.

According to Ukrainian near-military publics and monitoring resources, on January 7, the Russian Armed Forces launched another attack, which was successful. A Russian armored group consisting of two tanks and three infantry fighting vehicles with troops rushed from the village of Vozdvizhenka in the direction of the specified highway. According to their data, one unit of the Russian equipment The Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly managed to damage and stop them, while the rest drove around the minefields and ended up on the highway.



After this, the Russians landed troops, which consolidated their positions, cutting off an important supply route for the Ukrainian Armed Forces along the front line. At the same time, Russian armored vehicles "rolled back" to Vozdvizhenka, i.e. headed for the next batch of troops. Now the Russian Armed Forces are accumulating in this area, complicating the Ukrainian Armed Forces' ability to dislodge them from their positions in this section of the front in the Pokrovsk direction.

We remind you that on January 3, to the east of the city of Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk), the advance detachments of the RF Armed Forces advanced in the settlement of Vozdvizhenka itself, while simultaneously carrying out offensive actions with the aim of reaching the junction on the N-32 highway in order to disrupt the supply of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The village of Vozdvizhenka was liberated, and now the Russian troops have achieved a new success.
