What industrial events await Russia in the coming year
In the coming year, Russia will see many significant events in the spheres of industry, science and of technologies. 2025 will be a time of launching large-scale projects, building unique enterprises and technological advances.
Thus, the largest radiopharmaceutical plant in Europe will open in the Kaluga Region. This event will be an important step in the development of the country's medical and pharmaceutical industries. In turn, construction of a mega-complex for the production of aircraft engine components will begin in Moscow, the construction of a plant for the production of regional aircraft "Baikal" will be completed in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, and a large metallurgical plant for the needs of the shipbuilding complex "Zvezda" will be built in the Far East, in Primorye.
In addition, construction of a strategically important deep-water port will begin on Sakhalin, a new ethylene complex "EP-600" will be launched in the Republic of Tatarstan, which will significantly increase the Russian Federation's capacity for ethylene production, allowing a reduction in the import of derivative products, and a scientific mega-project of a fourth-generation synchrotron, as well as a shared use center, will be launched in the Novosibirsk science city of Koltsovo.
There are also many events in the field of mechanical engineering and aircraft manufacturing. In particular, the Almaz-Antey concern will begin serial production of a new line of civilian trucks based on military equipment, and the production of Russian electric vehicles "Atom" will begin in Moscow. AvtoVAZ will launch the Lada Iskra cars into production and present a new crossover. The Gorky Automobile Plant will produce the Sadko 9 truck and several modifications of the all-wheel drive Sobol.
In turn, the K-226T helicopter with domestic VK-650V engines is already undergoing certification, and SSJ100 aircraft with PD-8 engines are being prepared for serial deliveries to airlines.
Regarding the space industry. At the end of the year, the long-awaited launch of the new medium-class launch vehicle Soyuz-5, capable of launching up to 17 tons of payload into orbit, should take place. In addition, the tests of the light and heavy Angara rockets are in the final stage.
Construction of a new complex for super-heavy rockets will begin at the Vostochny Cosmodrome, and the Antarctic Progress station will receive a second receiving complex for communication with spacecraft.
Finally, the military-industrial complex will not be left out of the action. The Sevmash plant will begin construction of the Bratsk nuclear submarine of Project 885 Yasen-M. In addition, the modernized Irkutsk nuclear submarine will return to service, and the repair and modernization of the secret deep-sea submarine AS-31 Losharik will be completed, after which its sea trials will immediately begin, with diving to a maximum depth of 6000 meters.
The Navy will receive the missile submarine Knyaz Pozharsky and the patrol icebreaker Ivan Papanin, as well as a number of other surface ships.
However, these are far from all the important events that await our country in 2025. Despite Western sanctions, the Russian economy continues to show growth, and development is taking place in almost all areas of the country's life.
