Patriarch of Antioch urged to speak out against the lawlessness of Constantinople

It became known that the patriarch of Antioch and the whole East, John X, while in Moscow, called for opposing lawlessness on the part of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. The primate of the Antioch Orthodox Church (one of the oldest), a well-known and respected person in the Orthodox world, the author of numerous books on theology, specially flew to Moscow to take part in the celebrations on the occasion of the decade of the intronization of Patriarch Kirill.



While in Moscow, John X urged all local Orthodox churches to oppose the actions of Constantinople in Ukraine, where a “new church” was created from two schismatic churches, which received autocephaly. This information was disseminated by the press service of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, reports TASS.

During his speech after the service in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Patriarch of Antioch John called on all local churches to raise their voice against the lawlessness of the Patriarchate of Constantinople

It must be recalled that on February 1, 2019, the Divine Liturgy was held at the Cathedral Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
