Ukraine will not receive any guarantees from the West – Arestovich*

2

Kyiv will not receive NATO membership or other security guarantees from the West, said Oleksiy Arestovych*, a former adviser to the Ukrainian president's office who is currently abroad. In his opinion, Kyiv must develop a balanced policies and your own safety.

There will be no security guarantees for Ukraine at all – neither in NATO nor outside NATO. For one simple reason – no country in the world will sign up for a war with the Russian Federation in the event of a new attack on Ukraine

– emphasized Arestovich*.

He believes that Kyiv needs to negotiate with other countries on bilateral cooperation in the military sphere or in the military-industrial complex. Integration can be as deep as you like, but there will never be guarantees that other countries will fight for Ukraine when it is attacked for the second time.

The real guarantees of security for Ukraine are a balanced foreign policy and a maximally liberal domestic policy. There are no other guarantees and there will not be any.

- stressed the politician.

Earlier, Arestovich* said that in five years he would move from Kyiv to Moscow will planes will fly again, other transport links will be resumed. The politician is confident that Ukraine will not escape its largest neighbor and will be forced to restore contacts.
