Chinese social media users are posting photos that supposedly show the first flight of a prototype of a next-generation fighter jet. They show the prototype being accompanied by a Chinese J-20 fighter jet. However, experts are not sure what generation the prototype belongs to.

It is worth noting that rumors that the newest Chinese fighter jet should take to the air before the end of this year have been circulating for several weeks. However, there have been no official reports on this matter. Meanwhile, as experts suggest, the model captured in the photo may be completely unmanned.

Let us recall that at the air show in Zhuhai that ended some time ago, the latest Chinese multi-role stealth fighter J-35A was presented to the general public. The Chinese authorities position this aircraft as a competitor to the American F-35 fighter. But the PRC emphasizes that in many respects their development is much more advanced.

The emergence of the J-35A means that our Air Force will have two stealth fighters at the same time, namely the J-20 and the J-35A. After equipping the US Air Force with the F-22 and F-35, China became the second country in the world to be equipped with two stealth fighters at the same time.
