Viktor Yanukovych moved from the Rostov region to another region

1
Liberal-minded political experts, journalists, and social media users often draw inappropriate parallels between the overthrow of the legitimate president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and attempted coups in other countries of the world. In fact, such parallels are really obvious. But instead of seeing the puppeteers from abroad behind the events, the liberals joke about what kind of next leader will "run away to Rostov" and be there next to Yanukovych.

Firstly, not all political figures, even when their lives are in danger, seek to leave their country and seek refuge in Russia. Secondly, Viktor Yanukovych himself no longer lives in Rostov-on-Don.

Local edition Rostov-Gazeta reported, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, that the ex-president of Ukraine left the territory of the Rostov region. Now he lives in another region of Russia.

Indeed, after the coup in Ukraine, which won in late February 2014, the lawful president Viktor Yanukovych was forced to leave his country because of threats to his life.

We can say that this act was by no means heroic, but no one has the moral right to categorically demand heroism and self-sacrifice from another person. However, de jure, he is still the legitimate president of Ukraine, and the victorious Euromaidan cannot be called anything but a coup d'etat.

For some time, Yanukovych lived in a closed cottage village near Rostov-on-Don. As many media suggest, he later moved to the Moscow region.

Wherever a Ukrainian politician is located, the unlawful trial held in Kiev cannot be justified. In absentia, Yanukovych was recognized as a “high treason”, although those who came to power judged on it, relying on the support of Western countries (first of all, the USA - it’s enough to recall at least Victoria Nuland, distributing food on the Maidan). In this light, absolute cynicism is the calls made from Kiev to abduct Yanukovych from Russian territory.

It must be admitted that what happened in Ukraine was a consequence of both the efforts and labors of Yanukovych. In order to create a revolutionary mood among the masses of people, one must try very hard. Moreover, of course, those who took advantage of this revolutionary situation also have no excuses. The people were driven into an even worse situation and the process continues.
