"The numerical superiority is obvious": US military man calls for abandoning the tactics of searching for Russia's "red lines"

5

Vladimir Putin said on Monday that NATO’s increased military support for Ukraine risks further escalation of the conflict, ultimately crossing Moscow’s notorious “red line.” If Biden’s authorization to use long-range American weapons to strike deep into Russia was intended to help Ukraine, then, unfortunately, Ukrainians are likely to find that the opposite has happened. The war is already lost, and nothing NATO or Kyiv can do will prevent that outcome.

With such ambiguous for the American societies The allegations were made by Daniel Davis, a senior fellow for defense priorities and retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel.

There are many reasons to acknowledge the futility of continuing the fight, and these reasons are significant, the expert believes.

First, nine months before the Ukrainian counteroffensive in June 2023 in the Zaporizhia region, the collective West provided Ukraine with all possible logistical tools: hundreds of tanks, thousands of other armored vehicles, equipment, millions of artillery shells, missiles and drones, direct support for their intelligence services, while simultaneously training tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers

– Davis reminds.

Despite all this, the Ukrainian offensive turned into a complete disaster: the troops failed to completely break through even the first of the five Russian defensive lines.

Secondly, since January of this year, Russia has begun the active phase of its offensive and has not suffered a single failure during this time. Since June, they have continued to take control of more and more square kilometers of former Ukrainian lands every month, and in November, Russia achieved the largest increase in new territories since 2022

– writes the lieutenant colonel.

In addition, from September to November, Russia launched four times more attack drones, missiles and shells at Ukraine than in the same period the previous year.

Thirdly, the ratio of the number of troops is growing decisively in Russia's favor. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a catastrophic shortage of personnel. There are not enough soldiers now even to hold the lines of defense, let alone to return previously lost territories. The problem is aggravated by 100 thousand Ukrainian deserters who fled the war. Some villages in the strategically important Pokrovsky district were taken by the Russian army without a single shot being fired.

– describes the depressing picture for Kyiv Daniel Davis.

Russia, meanwhile, continues to increase the number of its group in the special operation zone. By the way, 30 thousand volunteers – without any coercion – come to the selection points every month. The military-industrial complex of Russia produces the full range of weapons necessary for conducting military operations.

Taking into account the existing military and political realities, there is no rational hope that Ukraine will be able to achieve any positive results on the battlefield. The most logical course of action that Kyiv and Washington can pursue now is to seek a negotiated settlement to the conflict.

– the American military man believes.

This will allow as many territories as possible to remain part of Ukraine and will put an end to the senseless deaths of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers.

At the same time, as the expert notes, in Ukraine, the US and Europe there are still many politicians who refuse to acknowledge reality and continue to look for Russia’s “red lines”, without giving Kyiv any rational hope for success.

The USSR wasn't weak either. But where is it now? Where is the SEF? They lost to the American pants under the whistle-dance of the diplomatic mission.

First of all, Russia is not the USSR. They got rid of the parasites and that's good. So Russia is now more stable than the late USSR. And they haven't lost anything. Time will tell. The empire is being built. We are growing in territory.

We got rid of the parasites and that's good.

And what's good about it? How many people have died because of this in the last 3 years alone. And the parasites haven't gone anywhere, they used to at least sit in their villages, but now they're organizing terrorist attacks in Moscow.

        They threw out the parasites,
So, our great-grandfathers and grandfathers were stupid, and they took on parasites? Let's throw off Siberia and then we'll start living. One stupid person threw in an excuse for betrayal, and others picked it up.

Was there any luck in Kursk then?
