Zakharova: US sanctions do not harm Russia, but American business

0
Years go by, and the restrictive measures of the United States administration in relation to Russia both did not work and do not work.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at a briefing on current external issues policy Russia stated that US anti-Russian sanctions were useless, and they did not help Washington achieve any of its goals.

According to Zakharova, the sanctions imposed by the US leadership negatively affected mainly American companies that cooperate with Russia.

The representative of the foreign ministry of the Russian Federation also noted that Western companies still show interest in cooperating with our country.

Recall that the sanctions against Russia were imposed by the United States and EU member states in 2014. The reason for their introduction was: first, the return of Crimea to Russia, and then the civil war in eastern Ukraine, in which the Russian Federation is not a party to the conflict.

It is difficult to say what kind of result the countries that imposed the sanctions were counting on, but they certainly did not expect that the sanctions would have no effect on Russia, but painfully hit them themselves.

The funny thing is that, having already realized the senselessness of such measures against Russia, these countries continue to threaten to puff out their cheeks and make a good face, with a very bad game.
