The Yasnenskaya division of the Strategic Missile Forces in the Orenburg region has been completely re-equipped with Avangard hypersonic missile systems. This was reported in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper by Sergey Karakayev, commander of the Strategic Missile Forces of the Russian Armed Forces. According to him, the command's immediate plans include re-equipping the Kozelskaya division with Yars systems.
Our plans for rearming the stationary group have been practically fulfilled. The rearmament of the Yasnensky formation in the Orenburg region with the Avangard missile system has been completed

He recalled that last year, missile regiments equipped with the Avangard missile system were put on combat duty with silo launchers under the control of the Bugai unified command posts.
Speaking about the immediate plans of the Strategic Missile Forces Command, Karakayev noted that in 2025 the Kozelsk missile unit will be re-equipped with Yars systems. Similar plans will be implemented with respect to the Tatishchevsky missile division.
The priority plans for 2025 include the rearmament of missile divisions where the Topol-M is on combat duty with the Yars missile system, in the Saratov region – in silo-based variants and in the Ivanovo region – in mobile ground-based variants.

He also noted that the troops are currently working on the issue of forming units that will be armed with the latest hypersonic missile system "Oreshnik".
