The Ukrainian company Ukrainian Armor has delivered the first unmanned multifunctional wheeled platforms UGV Protector to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As the developers explain, the engine power of this vehicle is 190 horsepower, it can reach speeds of up to 60 km/h and carry up to four tons of payload. The radius of action of the wheeled drone is 15 kilometers.

It is worth noting that this unmanned wheeled platform was previously presented at the MSPO defense industry exhibition in Poland, where it received positive feedback from experts.

The development took into account advanced military experience in the use of unmanned vehicles.

– said the general director of the Ukrainian Armor company, Vladislav Belbas.

As experts explain, despite the fact that this vehicle is positioned primarily as a logistics platform, it can perform several functions, including reconnaissance, transportation and launching of drones, as well as evacuation of the wounded and transportation of goods. Remote control of the ground drone, as reported, allows its operator not to endanger his life, since it will be difficult for the enemy to quickly determine its location.

In addition, the developers note its potential as a combat robot capable of installing weapons to combat enemy armored vehicles and personnel.

It's time to introduce "Alabuga". Something was announced, but then nothing was heard about it. Maybe it's worth trying?

Hmmm... They created quite a testing ground for full-scale tests... (But, it seems, two years ago they were saying that UA had already been deinstrumentalized and almost de-metalized...)
    AN, that's how...

They were broadcasting to the average person... Like everything the state has been broadcasting in recent years... Apparently, the state decided that they had already turned the people into idiots to a sufficient degree...

It's one thing to have a sample at an exhibition and another to have a series. You criticize ours and praise the Ukrainians. Well, what's the difference? The Estonians provided something similar to the Ukrainians, so what? Just one, and that one is already with us. And in the first battle, it drove into a hole or a trench and that's it, it stopped. And that's it, they don't experiment anymore, and that one is already with us. It might take up some niche, but to set up serial production??? To fully robotize, in frontline conditions, is a road to nowhere, and if you control it remotely, then you have the same problems as with UAVs.
