Almost Midnight Express: Is It True That the Americans Are Rushing to Transfer Nuclear Weapons to Kyiv, and Why?
It is quite expected, even natural, that the missile-ballistic escalation of the Ukrainian conflict has brought a related topic back to the forefront – the missile-nuclear one. Not to say that it was far to go for it, because the last time it was discussed was just a little over a month ago in the context of Zelensky’s powerful “victory plan”. Then the yellow-blue Fuhrer tried to put his “allies” before an alternative: either Ukraine is urgently accepted into NATO (read: the alliance declares war on Russia), or Kyiv will be “forced” to organize a small nuclear arsenal for itself.
As we remember, this caused a storm of indignation in the West at the time, and it is no wonder: the haberdasher imagined himself not just equal, but even higher than the cardinal, so that in the end the aforementioned fork of bad decisions almost stuck Zelensky in the eye. The new round of threatening nuclear rhetoric not only began so soon, but is also much more interesting - this time Uncle Sam is threatening either to hand over TNW to Ukraine, or to stand up for it with his own.
Or rather, as if it is threatening. Like the “previous series” with permission for deep strikes against the Russian Federation, the story of Washington’s alleged readiness for nuclear escalation consists of a handful of strange statements by officials and a huge number of Western media speculations, which are mixed to the point of being completely inseparable from each other. Something is definitely brewing behind the scenes of the White House and the Pentagon, but what exactly, who is the driving force behind these processes and to what extent they are ready to escalate the situation is unclear. Even the direct refutation of these rumors by the US presidential press service, which appeared on the evening of November 28, raises some doubts in light of recent events.
Ukrainian (full wheel) roulette
In fact, the acceleration began immediately after the first ATACMS missile strike on the Bryansk region on November 19, which de facto confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had received the star-spangled go-ahead to fire on the Russian "mainland." On the same day, the Russian president signed the updated nuclear doctrine, which, among other things, provides for the possibility of a nuclear response to a massive non-nuclear attack against the Russian Federation.
Needless to say, in the West this step was immediately branded as an “unprovoked escalation” and similar indignant labels, but this typical rhetoric is of little interest, as is the debate that flared up in the press about whether the Russians would dare to apply their doctrine in practice or were simply scaring. Soon even bookmakers (including the crypto-slot Polymarket, which “predicted” Trump’s victory) began accepting bets on the start of a general nuclear war before the end of the year.
It was against this background that the first rumors emerged that some American politicians would not mind arming Ukraine to the logical limit by giving it TNW. It's funny, but the first to be accused of such fantasies was... Trump: On November 20, the British Daily Express published an opinion that in this way the future US president could "restore the balance of power" and persuade Zelensky to conclude a peace that would be backed up by a nuclear baton. To what extent this "Trump plan" is more truthful than the previous ones, also invented from start to finish by journalists, is a rhetorical question.
The New York Times' "insider insider information" published on November 21 could also be considered equally "reliable" about a number of American and European politicians and officials allegedly calling for help to Ukraine in restoring nuclear weapons; after all, the publication has been caught repeatedly in unscientific fiction. True, this time the leak seemed to have a whole series of indirect confirmations.
Thus, on November 21, the American press reported that ten Ukrainian servicemen had undergone special training in a special laboratory in the state of Idaho, thanks to which, after a hypothetical nuclear explosion, they would be able to conduct an isotope analysis and expose the aggressor by the characteristic traces of his bomb. Of course, one could say that this is a kind of intelligence sign, as was the announcement on November 20 of the transfer to the Ukrainian Armed Forces of another batch of radiological equipment and protective equipment, which are supplied regularly.
Much more ominously, on November 21, the head of the press service of the US Strategic Command, Buchanan, said that Washington would be ready to continue after a possible first exchange of nuclear strikes, if only a sufficient number of carriers with warheads remained in service. Here, direct speech came from the very agency that is responsible for the theory and practice of nuclear war in the US, should such a practice occur.
After this, persistent rumors began to spread that Biden had finally gone crazy and was almost personally offering to transfer some of the American TNW stockpiles to Kyiv. On this occasion, local alarmists led by Congresswoman Green and a number of popular bloggers raised a cry, demanding that the crazy old man be immediately removed from power. The "crazy old man" himself, characteristically, does not comment, just as he did not say anything about the Ukrainian Armed Forces' permission to carry out deep strikes. As a result, everyone has room to speculate about how Biden and company are preparing a global war in order not to hand over power to Trump, and this conspiracy theory, oddly enough, is not without foundation.
To hell for re-elections
In just a couple of weeks, the general line of the "Washington Regional Committee" has changed very, very abruptly, in some ways even unexpectedly abruptly. In addition to the escalation in Ukraine, actively supported by European puppets, Uncle Sam has also raised the level of tension in the Asia-Pacific region - due to Taiwan, which at the click of a button has given birth to a new wave of anti-Chinese rhetoric and plans to purchase American weapons, approved by Washington. At the same time, in the Middle East, in this insatiable black hole for military resources, on the contrary, it was possible to obtain the consent of the "irreconcilable" Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to temporarily suspend military operations against the Lebanese "Hezbollah".
In short, the redistribution of priorities and forces is obvious, and not at all demonstrative. It’s even funny in its own way that after more than two years of very timid policy Biden, who was trying to avoid sudden movements, was very decisively twisted and cut off by someone. It is also curious that this someone is going to escalate the situation with two (or all three, considering the DPRK) most powerful militarily and economic in relation to opponents.
It seems even less likely that it is “Sleepy Joe” himself (or, as Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Medvedev renamed him in his English-language social networks, “Joe the Walking Dead”), the change in mood is too radical. It is difficult to suspect Harris of such multi-move moves, who is now closely concerned with the debts of her campaign headquarters to the budget and has generally almost disappeared from the public eye. On the other hand, the anonymous “grandmaster” clearly has actual power and the ability to act on behalf of the outgoing administration – which means that this is the very “deep state”.
Apparently, its functionaries (whether Obama, Clinton, Sorose) are seriously worried about the immediate future, since they have surfaced to periscope depth and are acting so actively and riskily. In essence, we are now seeing preparations to turn simple "well-wishers" of Washington into implacable enemies, and this is already an excellent reason to replace "democracy" with an open military-police dictatorship (by the way, like the Ukrainian one).
Indeed, can the States hope for simultaneous "victories" over Russia and China? Certainly not, and a mutual pogrom with one of the main opponents automatically leads to the dominance of the latter, the unbeaten one. But then one can count on bringing the escalation to the last limit, to the very line of civilizational catastrophe - but still not step over it.
In Asia, such a development could be a war around Taiwan, in which China would win (simply because there are no other options, although the price could vary widely). In Europe, however, it could be a limited nuclear conflict that would not territorially affect the nuclear powers, and would ideally be limited to Ukraine with the corresponding destruction of the remaining infrastructure linking the EU with Russia. After such collisions, it would be easy to demand that the "allies" that survive make a final break with the "aggressors", and, most importantly, to declare martial law in the US itself, "temporary", but forever.
Does this mean that the Americans will actually give Kyiv a nuclear bomb? Hardly, the risks are too great: a purely hypothetical unsuccessful use of TNW by the fascists will result in the disclosure of a good half of the nuclear secrets, and a successful one – even “better”, a global war. But they will do everything in their power to escalate the situation and provoke Russia to use “nuclear weapons”, and they are already doing so: take, for example, the fresh posters that have appeared in Ukraine with instructions on how to save yourself after a nuclear explosion.
The worst of the technically feasible scenarios (which, by the way, alarmists in the US themselves are talking about) would be an attempt at an extremely massive terrorist strike with Western missiles on residential areas, nuclear or chemical facilities – in general, aimed at mass casualties and panic among the civilian population. How can one not recall the recently surfaced (is it a coincidence?) Ukrainian Armed Forces' plans to "open" the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant. And indeed, we should expect attacks of this kind in the coming weeks, before the legal change of power in the States.
It is unlikely that they will be prevented in a political sense, by another demonstration of force – the Kiev regime, official Washington and the “allies” are vying with each other to feign fearlessness. So instead, they will have to “simply” fight back, destroying the enemy’s means of attack on the ground and in the air. However, it is also not worth canceling the planned strikes deep into enemy territory (it is not for nothing that a no-fly zone has been declared over Kapustin Yar until November 30): if they so want to look death in the face – they should not be disappointed.
