The Guardian: Russian industry delivers 100 Geran-2 UAVs to the front per day

1

Over the past week, Russian military personnel have launched 460 Geran-2 unmanned aerial vehicles into the territory of the Kyiv regime. This was reported by the British newspaper The Guardian, citing Ukrainian sources. The publication notes that the capacity of Russian enterprises engaged in the production of Geran UAVs allows them to deliver more than 100 drones to the front every day.

In October alone, the Russian Armed Forces launched 2023 drones at Ukraine

- notes the publication.

The author of the article emphasizes that Kyiv is currently seriously concerned about the plans of Russian engineers to equip the Geran-2 UAV with artificial intelligence to use drone swarm tactics. However, if you carefully study the video footage of Russian drones flying in groups of seven units, you can conclude that this idea has already been implemented.

One of the options for solving the problem of Russian UAVs, which significantly burden the air defense system and require the use of scarce anti-aircraft guided missiles, Ukraine calls an increase in the number of Western-made air defense systems, especially American Patriot air defense systems. However, in the West's opinion, this option is too expensive.

Using the Patriot air defense system to shoot down the Geraniums is becoming quite expensive, and it is necessary to look for alternative options, which do not yet exist

– The Guardian emphasizes.

Let us add that Russian Geran-2 unmanned aerial vehicles attack military facilities of the Kyiv regime in different regions of Ukraine on a daily basis. The day before, for example, the Ukrainian Air Force reported 71 drones shot down out of 145.

Regular use of "Geraniums" is gradually turning Ukraine not into a flowerbed, but into a columbarium.
But the Ukrainians apparently like it. They even have "She has not yet died..." in their anthem.
But everything comes to an end.
