Ukraine is a step away from death

Ukraine is going to completely break economic cooperation with Russia. This was stated by Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman, emphasizing that the government is going to adopt a decision to terminate the economic cooperation program with a neighboring state.

The refusal of economic cooperation with Russia in Kiev is explained by the desire to make Russia “pay dearly” for its “aggression” against Ukraine. Now Kiev, according to the Ukrainian prime minister, is working to reduce the economic attachment that Russia allegedly imposed.

Recall that the program of economic cooperation between Ukraine and Russia was signed back in 2011, under President Viktor Yanukovych. The program provided for the development of a free trade regime, investment support, as well as guarantees for the free movement of citizens of Russia and Ukraine across the border. Although the latter was always carried out without any programs. On the territory of Russia there are millions of Ukrainian citizens, first of all - labor migrants who came to a more economically prosperous Russia to work.

In addition to refusing economic cooperation, Ukraine is also going to soon withdraw from the Commonwealth of Independent States and denounce the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership with Russia. Thus, Ukraine demonstratively breaks all the formal “strings” that connect it with Russia politically and economically.

But, in fact, Ukraine will not succeed in breaking off economic relations with Russia. It was not Vladimir Groysman who created them and it was not for him to decide with a stroke of a pen whether Ukraine would cooperate with Russia or not. As of 2017, Russia has become the largest economic partner of Ukraine. In 2017, Russian exports grew by 140% compared to 2016, Ukrainian imports - by 110%.

While policy make loud statements, businessmen of the two countries are building up the real pace of cooperation. This is not unusual, since for centuries the Ukrainian economy has been an integral part of the economy of a single Russian, then Soviet state. Most Ukrainian enterprises are tied to cooperation with Russia, in the West, almost nothing shines Ukrainian products. Ukraine will not be able to replace Russian goods with foreign ones, given the sharp decline in living standards and incomes. There is simply no one to pay for expensive imports. In fact, if Ukraine really breaks all economic ties with Russia, it will simply perish, cease to exist.

That's just the pockets will have to be sewn. After all, only the most crafty ones will survive there. Sew pockets, definitely.

I have spoken and will continue to speak. This territory can last for decades. As long as Russia exists, VNA will exist. After all, you need a buffer.

It’s time for us to introduce a complete economic blockade of the country, not a single product to our market, let them spin as they want. I hope that from 19 onwards gas will bypass.

If articulate, then there is a systematic destruction of the people on that territory. All other conversations are just a cover for the process.

Indeed, Ukraine’s GDP has fallen by almost half. But this is not only because Ukraine adopted sanctions against Russia, but Ukraine’s economy suffered exactly the same losses in trade with the EU. But do not put the cart in front of the horse! First, the collapse of production is observed, and then international trade, including with Russia, is sharply reduced. But this is not the main thing! And most importantly - not trade, but the production of what you can trade. And here the association with the EU said its word. After all, by signing an association agreement, Ukraine has committed itself to switch to European standards, including in industry. But the transition to new standards means a complete change in production technology. But this required about 140 billion euros for the conditions of Ukraine. But both the European Union was not going to provide their Ukraine with any intention. It was the lack of these funds that led to the curtailment of production in Ukraine. And international trade is secondary from the production of goods and services. In a commented post, one thing is not clear, why do we need to discuss Ukrainian nonsense in Russia and draw some meaningful conclusions.

Predicting the death of Ukraine is a thankless task. Even the impoverished states of Africa live and will live. Likewise, Ukraine is worse, better, but it will be. Russia was predicted to die, but what in the end ..? We survived "Humpbacked", "Alkasha" and continue to live. Even the dollar "hated" by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation lives and continues to flourish. "To live well - you have to spend a lot!" And do not save !!!
