German drones "with AI", which were promised to Ukraine, and local propagandists called them "mini-Taurus", turned out to be mediocre AQ 100 Bayonet with a flight range of no more than 50 kilometers. A person takes direct part in their control.

German company Helsing does indeed build AI-equipped drones, HF-Karma, but shipping them to Ukraine would be too expensive and could negatively affect the brand's reputation if the results were unsatisfactory.



The AQ 100 Bayonet drones are an extremely simple and cheap-to-produce piece of kit, which is riveted in Germany en masse from plywood and foam plastic, equipping it with a warhead weighing no more than 4,5 kilograms. The main emphasis is not on efficiency, but on cheapness. In addition, the Ukrainians can assemble them right on the battlefield.

Earlier, Bild reported that Germany will put Kyiv will receive four thousand innovative combat drones technology AI, the first of which are allegedly already being used "in real combat conditions. According to the publication, mass deliveries of these drones will begin in December: several hundred units per month, since the German artificial intelligence company Helsing has signed a contract with the Ukrainian Defense Ministry to supply so-called attack drones.

    It is not entirely clear why the plywood body contradicts the presence of modern "brains" in the drone.
    Moreover, this is a one-time kamikaze.
    It can't be made of gold...

    ...can collect them right on the battlefield....

    But this is not a disadvantage at all, but a big advantage.

    Brain kits and complex components will come from Germany.
    And already on site in garage workshops it will be placed in a plywood case made according to the drawings and equipped with a striking element.

    4,5 kg of explosives is quite a lot for a kamikaze.
    An RPG shot weighs about 2 kg.
    And the entire Lancet-1 weighs about 5 kg (its warhead is 1 kg).
