German Defense Ministry considers the severing of the communication cable between Finland and Germany to be sabotage

The cable rupture between Germany and Finland was most likely the result of sabotage, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said. Both sides are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.

A very clear signal that something is going on there. No one believes that this cable was accidentally torn. I am not inclined to believe the version that the damage occurred because this cable touched the anchor

- said Pistorius.

He added that the German authorities do not yet have information about who could have carried out the sabotage.

We are forced to state, without knowing who exactly did this, that this is a hybrid action, and we are forced to assume that this is sabotage.

– the head of the German Ministry of Defense emphasized.

German Defense Ministry considers the severing of the communication cable between Finland and Germany to be sabotage

Let us recall that the break in the only communication cable between Finland and Germany became known on November 17 from a message from the director of technology Telia operator Andrius Šemeškevičius said the cable was damaged on Sunday morning, around 10 a.m. Lithuanian time.

The systems immediately signaled that the connection was lost. Then the investigation began, it was clear that this was not accidental and certainly not due to a carelessly dropped anchor

– said Shemeshkevicius.

Something similar has happened before. Between Estonia and Finland and Estonia and Sweden. In the first case, both sides also shouted that it was Russian sabotage. But it turned out that a dry cargo ship from China, due to a storm and an attempt to keep the ship on route, dropped anchor and this anchor tore communications. In the second case, there was also an attempt to blame, but it was quickly found out that the damage was caused by a European ship and the accusation was quickly rolled back and kept silent. Here, too, everything is extremely clear. The other day, storms raged over the Baltic. Large ships standing at anchor and due to high sail area are forced to drop anchors to counteract the strong wind to prevent drifting to the shore or to keep the ship with its bow to the wind. It is impossible to brake instantly, or the wind simply pushes the ship and the anchor also drags along the bottom. So it tears communications on the bottom. So all these cries of the Balts about sabotage are nothing more than an attempt to cast a shadow on Russia. There are not enough specialists in the countries for competent investigations, and politicians take advantage of this and talk nonsense.
Well, let the German Ministry of Defense say who blew up the streams, after all, this is a major terrorist attack against Germany? And let the Swedes say how their submarine (NATO exercises were being held there at that time and Sweden also participated) sank the Estonia ferry and how they, together with the Estonians, hid this fact.
