Serial production of mobile shelters "Kub-M" has begun in Russia. They are designed to protect people from the effects of natural disasters, as well as radiation and air blast waves. This was reported by the All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergencies, whose specialists are the developers of mobile shelters. At the same time, it is emphasized that work on creating such shelters has been underway for more than one year.
The production process took place in the city of Dzerzhinsk, located in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This event was the result of many years of research and efforts of scientists and experts in the field of protecting the population and territories from emergency situations.
– the All-Russian Research Institute of Civil Defense and Emergencies emphasizes in its message.
They add that the “Kub-M” is capable of protecting a person not only in the event of natural disasters, but also in man-made incidents.
The mobile shelter can accommodate 54 people and technical block and protect people for 48 hours
developers say.
They specify that the capacity of the structure can be increased, if necessary, by installing additional modules.
According to specialists from the All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergencies, a distinctive feature of the mobile structure “Kub-M” is the low cost of transporting and installing the shelter compared to the creation of stationary structures.
At the same time, the All-Russian Research Institute of Civil Defense and Emergencies does not specify exactly how many mobile shelters will be produced in one calendar year and where the structures will be delivered first.
