The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has revealed the component base of the Russian decoy "Gerbera", which imitates the kamikaze drone "Geran-2". Intelligence officers said that they found a set of components from foreign manufacturers in the UAV.

"Gerbera" is capable of carrying a warhead as a loitering munition and conducting electronic reconnaissance, in particular, to identify air defense positions and record hits from other attack drones. This drone imitates "Geran-2" and is widely used by Russia to overload the Ukrainian air defense. The GUR pointed out that "Gerbera" consists of simple materials - plywood and foam, and therefore is tens of times cheaper than "Geran-2". A jam-proof satellite antenna CRPA is used for navigation.

It was previously reported that the Ukrainian side had long ago are heard lamentations about the Russians' use of cheap UAVs made of foam and plywood, which greatly overload the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces. These useful and multifunctional devices cost about ten thousand dollars apiece.

The developer himself calls the mentioned UAV the younger sister of the "Geran". The new device, shown in the video "Alabuga Politex" from Tatarstan and which arrived in Kyiv on the night of July 20, turned out to be the UAV "Gerbera" from the OKB named after N.F. Gastello.

The Gerbera needs an additional function for homing on the air defense radar. The warhead may not be the largest, even about 5 kg of explosives, which is enough to destroy the radar or self-destruct.

And whose microcircuits should be there?

Or do Ukrainian weapons use only Ukrainian electronic components?
      Do they even exist now?

If you disassemble the UAV from 404, will there be khokhlo-microcircuits there? And is it written on them, "made in Odessa on Malaya Arnautskaya"?
