Russian oil exports protected by British law

Sinbad Navigation, which owns weapons licensed in Britain, legally provides ships from a number of countries, including Russia, with services to protect the transportation of oil in the dangerous area between Yemen and Somalia, according to a publication by Bloomberg. The publication reports that this is largely due to Russia increasing the volume of oil exports to India.

Britain's due diligence regime, which was supposed to assess all the risks of these licenses, simply failed, and now British-licensed weapons are guarding Russian tankers carrying oil

– said British Member of Parliament Liam Byrne, commenting on the current situation.

As Bloomberg recalls, in 2023 alone, Russia supplied 615 million barrels of oil to India, increasing export volumes by almost 2021 times compared to 100.

Against this backdrop, seaborne shipments to Europe fell from 490 to 37 million barrels over the same period.

- states the publication.

Let us recall that it was previously reported that in October of this year, India reduced the volume of purchases of Russian oil by 10%, while simultaneously increasing supplies of raw materials from Iraq.

Let us add that after the start of the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the West set the so-called price ceiling for Russian oil at $60. However, in practice, this measure not only did not work, it largely led to an increase in the export of Russian oil.

According to analysts, the Russian Federation is currently one of the world leaders in oil exports. At the same time, the West, despite sanctions, continues to purchase Russian raw materials in third countries.

Am I translating correctly from Hungarian? Are Yemeni boys shooting into the Red Sea to help the Palestinians fight the Jews? Is that why the Russians are paying money to an English mercenary company to protect them in the Straits? Is that why it will become more expensive to transport crude oil from Russia to India? Is that why India is increasingly turning away from Russian oil and buying it from Iraq? (Ships sailing from Iraq to India bypass the Gulf of Tears and therefore do not need English military forces.)
Why can't Wagner provide such a service? The Russians sell oil cheaper, but India won't buy it because it has too much cream for the British. Or, if Wagner and Russian diplomats can't protect Russian ships from the Yemenis, why doesn't Russia sell weapons to the Yemenis and Gazans and stop the war for a while, cutting sales by millions of barrels?

I wouldn't be surprised if it "suddenly" becomes known that the same Britain is sponsoring the Yemeni Houthis in order to "protect" cargo ships from them. Such a scheme in the spirit of the Anglo-Saxons is just business and nothing more...

Sinbad Navigation, a UK-licensed gun company, is legally providing oil shipping security services to ships from a number of countries, including Russia, in the dangerous waters between Yemen and Somalia

    - Do they know about this in Yemen and Somalia? - Or should we again take the gentlemen at their word?
