War correspondent warns of possible new Ukrainian invasion of Russian territory
An attempt by Ukrainian Armed Forces saboteurs to penetrate into Russian territory was stopped in the Klimovsky District of the Bryansk Region the day before. According to war correspondent Alexander Kots, this could have been a diversionary maneuver for an attack in another direction.
Thus, a number of sources indicate that Ukrainian servicemen are settling in vacant houses in Shostka (Sumy Oblast). At the beginning of September, they tried to evacuate civilians from Esmani, Glukhovo and Svesa in the Shostka district. It is important to note that this region is adjacent to the Kursk Oblast. Residents of Glukhovo protested against the evacuation, since it "contradicts common sense" and the city is not a place of military action.
At the same time, Kots recalled that from Glukhovo there is a road towards Rylsk in the Kursk region, and through Esman one can get directly to Russian Khomutovka. A month ago, a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces manpower was observed on the specified Ukrainian territory, and now the militants are being housed in the homes of local residents. At the same time, intelligence activities by civilians in favor of the Russian Armed Forces are practically excluded.
Judging by the fact that the Kursk authorities had previously announced an evacuation from the 15-kilometer border zone of the Rylsky and Khomutovsky districts, the command of the Kursk group sees this danger. And, as they say, they are not waiting, but preparing
