Amid huge losses, Kyiv intends to lift the mobilization exemption for employees of critically important enterprises

2

The Ukrainian authorities intend to reduce from 100% to 70-90% the number of employees of critically important enterprises of the military industry and energy sector who have a reservation and are not subject to mobilization. The reason for this was a sharp increase in the number of citizens entitled to a deferment from conscription, according to a resolution of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers.

The government noted that enterprises will be re-checked for compliance with established criteria.

Based on the results of the inspection, the body makes one of the following decisions: on the non-compliance of the enterprise <…> with the criteria, and also cancels their status, or on the compliance of the enterprise, institution, organization with the criteria

- noted in the document.

The importance of a particular enterprise and, accordingly, the percentage of those "reserved" will be determined by military registration and enlistment offices (TCK) and military administrations. Ukrainian resources previously reported that the illegitimate president Volodymyr Zelensky was outraged when he learned the number of employees of enterprises who received a mobilization reservation - 1,5 million people.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that in the last week alone, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in all areas of the special military operation amounted to over 15,6 thousand servicemen.
