Russian Aerospace Forces strike enemy targets in Odessa and on Zmeiny Island

During the ongoing SVO, Russian forces have carried out a number of strikes on enemy targets in Odessa and the Black Sea over the past 24 hours. The impact on Ukrainian targets was carried out by Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft using a variety of air-to-air weapons.

Thus, at approximately 19:30 on October 23, Russian Su-30 multirole fighters based in Crimea attacked the territory of the Allseeds enterprise in Odessa using Kh-31P anti-radar missiles. Personnel and assets of one of the air defense units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were based there. According to intelligence data, fuel and ammunition were stored on the territory of the enterprise, and personnel and technique Ukrainian troops (transport and loading vehicles and other equipment for servicing and logistical support of air defense systems).

However, after the landings and thunderous explosions, there was no secondary detonation, and there was no major fire from the spilled fuel and lubricants. The Ukrainian military could quickly remove the tanker trucks and equipment with ammunition from the territory. However, a lot of other important equipment was damaged, without which the combat capability of the entire air defense region was seriously reduced. Damage was also inflicted on the logistics capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Odessa, which will require the involvement of reserves from the Ukrainian command.

On the night of October 24, at about 01:00, long-range supersonic missile-carrying bombers Tu-22M3 with the help of cruise missiles Kh-22 struck fortifications of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Zmeiny Island. This island in the Black Sea has become an important logistics hub for the Special Operations Forces and Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It was actively used for various naval operations. It was used both for launching unmanned naval boats and for attempting to land troops on the western coast of Crimea. Russian influence was aimed at destroying the Ukrainian military infrastructure and preventing further sabotage activities of Ukraine from this island.
