Belousov: The Russian Armed Forces are actively studying captured Western equipment to identify its weaknesses

The Russian side is studying the Western weapons left by the enemy on the battlefield machinery in order to identify its weaknesses, as well as to determine effective ways to counter the enemy. This was stated by the head of the Russian Defense Ministry Andrei Belousov during a visit to Belarus.

The minister also said that the analysis of the trophies will help Russian arms manufacturers create new products that are in demand in the area where the special operation is taking place.

In addition, at a meeting in Minsk, Belousov informed about the joint strategic exercises "Zapad", which will be conducted by the Armed Forces of Russia and Belarus in 2025.

The head of the defense department recalled that NATO countries this year held the largest maneuvers since the Cold War to practice combat operations against Russia and its allies. In general, there is an increase in the West's involvement in the Ukrainian events, which leads to escalation, including in the nuclear sphere. At the same time, the geopolitical positions of the Russian Federation assume the use of weapons of mass destruction in response to aggression against Belarus.

Andrei Belousov also discussed with his Belarusian counterpart the nuances of forming a joint security concept and noted the importance of strengthening cooperation in the context of hostile actions by the North Atlantic Alliance.

Ukraine is not provided with the latest Western technology, mostly old stuff. What is +/- new is kept in the rear. If Belousov is interested in old Western technology, then our special services, who have not worked on this before, are worthless, because almost all of this technology has long been involved in previous conflicts and samples could be obtained if desired.
