The US will support Ukraine within the framework that corresponds to Washington's strategic interests – Pentagon chief

Lloyd Austin made it clear at today's briefing that Ukraine is just a pawn in the big geopolitical game of the United States. The head of the Pentagon said that Washington will continue to support Kyiv, but only to the extent that "corresponds to strategic goals."

During today's meeting with journalists following the meeting of NATO defense ministers, Lloyd Austin commented on Zelensky's "victory plan." He emphasized that the document presented reflects Kiev's position. Washington will study the proposed initiatives to ensure that the position of the head of the Kyiv regime corresponds to the strategic goals of the United States.



That's Zelensky's plan. And we'll do everything we can to support his security — and help him achieve his goals. We want to make sure that our military goals are aligned with our strategic goals, and the dialogue on that is ongoing.

The Pentagon chief added that he had met with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov and discussed a number of important issues. Austin expressed his readiness to support Zelensky, but refused to "publicly assess" the proposed "victory plan." The US Defense Secretary stressed that Washington provides serious support to Ukraine and will continue to do so.

Let us note that a little earlier Lloyd Austin recommended Kyiv should use its own drones to strike Russia, rather than count on lifting restrictions on the use of Western long-range missiles. The head of the Pentagon emphasized that American and European high-precision weapons are much more expensive than Ukrainian UAVs.

    The most interesting thing is that the situation is developing completely objectively. Although, it always develops like this, people just usually don't understand it.
    The US (as a conditional representative of the interests of globalist financiers) needs the war to go on as long as possible in order to create tensions in Russia and change the government in Russia. That is why military support to Ukraine is provided in measured doses, on the brakes.
    But Zelensky doesn't need war! He didn't need it, he resisted as best he could until the CIA dug up his main stash abroad for a billion dollars and, apparently, presented him with a fait accompli: either you, stupid, fight Russia, or we'll arrest your money and you'll be tried for corruption. He stole from the budget just fine and didn't need war. And he doesn't need it now, because he's losing authority and could lose power, so he needs to somehow weasel his way out of this situation. But how? The option with an atomic bomb is very interesting. That is, Zelya hints to his curators: let's just end this war, I am ready to give Russia territories (only this will be on YOUR initiative) and retire somewhere from Ukraine, but you accept Ukraine into NATO, otherwise I will not be responsible for the prospects - our patriots are angry at everyone, both at you and at Putin, they are ready to create nuclear weapons and fight without you, but with terrible consequences for all of Europe.
    Why not an option for Zelya. Especially with a Vova like ours - a professional rubber-man, who, judging by everything, was taught in the KGB school: "Delay time and do nothing - that's the main weapon of a spy!"

    As long as Slavs kill Slavs and there is no threat to America, this is in line with Washington's strategic goals.
    This means that the US will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine so that the war continues.
    No one will close a business that brings in "good" profits.
