Tesla Shows Off Humanoid Robots That Can Perform a Whole Range of Jobs
As part of the We, Robot presentation, the American company Tesla presented several of its developments. In particular, the Cybercab taxi car without pedals and a steering wheel, as well as Tesla Optimus humanoid robots, which are capable of performing various household chores, were shown.
Thus, after a quick update, androids will be able to water plants, walk pets, help carry heavy bags from the car, mow the lawn, vacuum, play with children and watch them, serve at the table, and much more.

Along with this, Tesla Optimus will be able to perform some skilled work. At the exhibition, one of the robots was able to change a wheel on a car. During the offline presentation, the androids played Rock, Paper, Scissors with visitors, chatted and treated guests to beer.




The head of Tesla, American entrepreneur Elon Musk, announced the imminent start of mass sales of humanoid robots. Experts believe that Tesla Optimus will be available for purchase in 2026-2027. The cost of one copy is expected to be from 20 to 30 thousand dollars (about 2,9 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
In addition, Musk said that in the future, autonomous cars will be dozens of times safer than conventional ones. In 2025, fully autonomous driving will be launched in California and Texas. Cybercab production will start in 2026, and this car will be available for purchase from 2027.
