Today, no one doubts that we are entering the "era of electric motors." If in the recent past, the company Ilona Mask Tesla was the unconditional monopolist in the industry, now world-famous concerns are actively joining it.

On the eve it became known that the company Ducati, which is currently part of Audi AG and is one of the largest manufacturers of “two-wheeled horses”, intends to start production of serial models of motorcycles with an electric motor. And this is not surprising, because such eminent competitors as Harley-Davidson, Honda and Yamaha have already presented their models to the public.

The head of the Italian leader in the motor industry, Claudio Domenicali, said that the company is more serious than ever in the production of electric bikes, since "the future is with electricity." Moreover, the concern already has some experience in the production of such equipment. Previously, jointly by other developers, Ducati launched a series of electric bicycles.

It is too early to talk about the power and other characteristics of future motorcycles. However, given the previous models of the concern, we are most likely talking about sports, high-speed bikes. According to Eduard Lotte, the company's regional director, the first Ducati electric motorcycle concept can be released in 2021.
