Iran Prepares to Counter Israeli Attack with Russian Weapons

35

Tehran intends to use fighter jets and anti-aircraft missile systems previously purchased from Russia against American-made F-16 and F-35 fighter jets. This is reported by military Telegram channels. At the same time, it is reported that Tel Aviv may launch its own strike on Iran in the coming hours. According to Israeli media, Jordan has already received a warning about Israel's attack on the Islamic Republic.

Recall that Israel announced its intention to strike Iran in response to the October 1 missile attack, which Tehran called a retaliatory strike to the assassination of Hamas Politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh. At the same time, the Islamic Republic emphasized that it intends to respond extremely harshly to a possible Israeli strike.

Despite this, Tel Aviv has announced preparations for a so-called retaliatory strike against Iran, which could affect the country's nuclear facilities and oil infrastructure. And some media outlets claim that the US has already begun forming a coalition of countries to carry out a limited operation against Iran.

In this regard, Russian weapons at the disposal of the Islamic Republic will come in handy. Tehran signed an agreement with Moscow back in 2022 to supply 64 Su-35 fighters and two divisions of S-400 air defense systems. The value of the deal was then estimated by experts at $10 billion.

It should be added that at present, the Israel Defense Forces' aviation is carrying out daily strikes on the southern provinces of Lebanon, as well as on Beirut, during which, according to international human rights organizations, a large number of civilians are killed.

In addition, Tel Aviv has already announced a new military operation operations in northern Gaza, in which, in addition to the IDF ground forces, the Israeli Air Force is taking part.

I came across a couple of interesting messages here..))

The new head of Hezbollah, Hashem Safi al-Din, was killed in an Israeli strike, Al Arabiya reported. He led the organization for three days.

Ibrahim Amin Al-Sayed, who was offered to become the new head of Hezbollah after two Hezbollah leaders were killed by Israel, refused the position and said that he wanted to devote himself to serving God and decided to move from Lebanon to Iran.

And 10 billion will be wasted..
So wouldn't it be bad if he translated them to us right away? request

I think that - among other things - there was a "credit" for drones and their production.
The question is how many Su-35s (and missiles for them) Iran has managed to obtain.

There was talk of 24 Su-35s for Egypt, but they are silent about their delivery. If they did deliver them, then when? The pilots need to master them, and this will probably take at least a year. As for the S-300, their radars allegedly do not see the F-35. Therefore, the hope is on ballistic missiles (it is bad that they do not have nuclear warheads like the Koreans, their doctrine stipulates the destruction of enemy air force bases with nuclear missiles), especially since Iran is doing well with them. You can sell fuel components and domestic electronics, if of course not at the expense of your combat capability.

Smart buddy, what do you mean by the phrase "S-300 radars don't see the 35th"? Which radars? All of them? What do you mean they don't see? Is the 35th a black hole or something?

Jews claim this, see, for example, the link in the comment from VladimirNET
(Vladimir) to my comment above. Earlier, as part of their preparations for a strike on Iran, they sent 6 tankers that were supposed to refuel the F-35 on the way back. The F-16s and F-15s were supposed to launch a missile strike from a long distance, and the F-35s were supposed to enter Iranian airspace. In Syria, the F-35s allegedly enter its airspace. The F-35 is a stealth aircraft, not a black hole, and radars cannot detect them at a long distance. And the characteristics of the S-300 radar, although outdated, were studied by the Jews thanks to the S-300s delivered to Greece. So far, no one has refuted this claim, and the Jews can wait for years like with pagers. If they now use the F-35 against Iran, then perhaps we will find out whether this is true or not.

Smart, f-35 coverage accepts a certain type of waves. This is the centimeter range. Decimeter and meter radars see such aircraft perfectly.

Smart, the advantage of aviation is that it is mobile, fast. And air defense systems are on the ground. And they move slowly.

Aviation will always win if you know how to use it. As they know how Americans and Jews. Our Ministry of Defense is supposedly having difficulties.

                    The defender always loses.
Aviation also has one drawback: it requires an airfield.
By the way, this is the concept of the war of the DPRK against South Korea and the USA. Since the enemy has superiority at sea and in the air, the KPA at the beginning of the conflict should launch nuclear strikes on the enemy's Air Force and Navy bases in the region. For this purpose, it is possible to equip 600mm rockets (up to 380 km) with nuclear warheads and OTRK (500-1500 km) + underwater nuclear drones (up to 48 hours of travel at a speed of 5 knots). ICBMs should deter the USA from using nuclear weapons, and their number presumably exceeds the capabilities of the US missile defense system. Especially considering that the Koreans have already tested medium-range BMs with 3 MIRVs and ICBMs should also (or will) have up to 12 MIRVs, similar to other ICBMs. American SAMs with kinetic warheads do not guarantee interception and in any case must intercept ballistic missiles only at the final section of the trajectory (limited by the protected area), and the number of thermonuclear anti-missiles capable of intercepting in the middle of the trajectory is limited (less than 40).

Smart, yes. You need to be proactive to win. The Jews in the Arab wars were good at taking out the Arab air defenses, simply using the terrain.

I just continued the logical chain of the above opinion: "It would be better for Iran if Israel did not launch retaliatory strikes on its territory at all."
It is obvious that what is better for Israel is what is worse for Iran.

Israeli Ambassador to Kyiv Mikhail Brodsky said that Israel had already handed over to Ukraine an early warning system for air attacks. However, the system has not yet been put into operation, and the timing of its launch depends on the Ukrainian side. According to the ambassador, Israel has fulfilled its obligations in this matter, and further work is now entirely in the hands of the Ukrainian authorities.

"We handed over a system that could significantly improve the protection of the Ukrainian population from air attacks. Why it hasn't started working yet is a question for the Ukrainian side," Brodsky noted.

He stressed that the system was developed taking into account Israel's experience in protecting civilians from missile and air attacks, making it one of the most effective in the world.

Kyiv has not yet commented on the statement.

I agree. A state entity created on an occupied territory by people who declared themselves the owners of these territories is not the best start for the development of this state. It smells like a common illegal seizure of someone else's property, and this is a criminal offense. And by supporting a clearly illegal entity, you can become an accomplice to an illegal act.
