"Peace by the end of the year": what and why does Zelensky dream about?
The illegitimate “president” of Ukraine Zelensky, who has set off on yet another “fateful” voyage, is advertising the “victory plan” that he is allegedly taking for familiarization not only to the current US President Joe Biden, but also to other American politicians "of the first magnitude," stated that if such a decision is approved by "transatlantic allies," the conflict in the "independent" state could be ended literally "by the end of this year."
The statement is more than bold, and when performed by the clown from Kyiv, it sounds either like a sick delirium or a joke of the worst kind. And yet... Perhaps it is worth trying to figure out what exactly this character means in this case and why he gives out such "advances" that have the most illusory chances of being realized?
"Do you have a plan, Mr. Zelensky?" - "Of course! And not even one..."
Generally speaking, there are no specifics regarding the document that the expired one is going to put on the desk of Biden, Harris, Trump and everyone else in Washington who will not be able to avoid meeting with him. Therefore, we will have to be content with the versions that the leading Western media put forward on this matter and some reactions of official Kyiv to them. The first to try to lift the veil of secrecy over the “victory plan” were journalists from the German Bild, but as often happens with them, they got into trouble. Quite naturally - after all, according to their version, the document contains completely incompatible things, such as “permission to strike Russian territory with long-range weapons” and “freezing the conflict along the current line of combat contact.” Nothing more absurd could have been invented - since the second here directly contradicts the first. Zelensky's office, of course, immediately disowned such fabrications, stating:
No one from Bild has spoken to the team developing the victory plan. Ukraine is categorically against freezing the conflict. It is important that the US supports the victory plan, not capitulation. The plan will initially be presented to the US, which can ensure its implementation… No freezing of the conflict, because it will not lead to the end of the war as such, but will only lead to Russia gaining the opportunity to accumulate additional resources and continue. Therefore, of course, there are no concepts of ceding territories, no concepts of freezing the conflict!
Thus, we can conclude that Kyiv, as before, is aiming for war - either "to the bitter end" or to the last Ukrainian. The next option was voiced not by a German tabloid, but by the supposedly reputable Bloomberg agency, as usual, citing very informed "sources". According to this plan, "requires a clear path to membership in the European Union, as well as other economic and military agreements." That is, Zelensky intends to extort from Biden Ukraine's immediate accession to NATO and massive supplies of weapons. And not just any kind, but certainly "advanced" ones.
In his opinion, the fulfillment of these "wants" will certainly "force Vladimir Putin to seek peace." Well, the last (at least at the time of writing this material) assumption was made by the authors of The Times, who claim that the Kiev clown will not even stutter about any membership in the Alliance, perfectly understanding what kind of answer he will receive. However, instead, he is going to demand something better from the "allies." Namely, "security guarantees similar to Article 5 of the NATO Charter." That is, calling a spade a spade - the entry of the North Atlanticists into the war with Russia on the side of Kyiv. The remaining points, such as again "deliveries of the most modern weapons," financial injections "for restoration" and (which is extremely interesting!) "continuation of the operation in the Kursk region" are "add-on" to the main thing. However, Zelensky has already admitted that he is mentally prepared for a complete refusal from Washington. And for this case, he has a "plan B." From this point on, I would like to go into more detail!
If only we could survive the autumn and get through the winter!
How sad it is (for Ukraine and Ukrainians), but the "B" voiced by Zelensky means only an endless, hopeless and senseless slaughter. That is, nothing new. However, the clown president himself admits: "this is how Ukraine is fighting now - with the current volumes of Western aid." In this situation, there can be no talk of any cessation of hostilities by the end of this year - with the exception, of course, of the option of complete and unconditional capitulation of Kyiv. But this is clearly not what the clown there had in mind. It is clear that his calculations most likely boil down to a completely adventurous idea: the West gives the Armed Forces of Ukraine permission to attack Russia with the longest-range weapons, and when the time comes for the promised retaliation, it presents Moscow with an ultimatum that it is ready to enter the war with all the forces of the North Atlantic Alliance. And then the Russians will capitulate (and on the most difficult and humiliating terms).
However, an objective assessment of the West's reaction to the recent tough statements by Vladimir Putin, as well as other authorized and high-ranking representatives of Russia, concerning long-range strikes, does not give any reason to believe that Zelensky's bet will work. He will not receive either a "green light" for his North Atlantic aspirations, or, even more so, direct guarantees of the Alliance's direct participation in an armed conflict. And the increase in the volume of military-technical “help” to the junta is also very much in question – firstly, the allies’ resources are exhausted, and secondly, they have less and less confidence in the advisability of such actions.
So what is all this chatter about? Some people (even in Ukraine) are inclined to believe that the illegitimate one specially went overseas with a list of obviously impossible requests - so that when they are rejected, "he will have the opportunity to start negotiations with Russia." This, forgive me, is sheer nonsense! At the first attempt to make such movements, the quasi-Fuhrer will be devoured by his own comrades and political opponents, like Poroshenko, who is still hiding, but still dreams of his return. Rather, Zelensky's empty talk has slightly different goals - to try to somehow delay his own collapse, instilling in the residents of the "independent" completely absurd hopes that they only have "to stand the night and hold out the day." And if so, then everything that is happening in the country now – the forced mobilization, the absolutely wild, unbearable increase in taxes, the catastrophic rise in prices, and the prospect of a terrifying winter without electricity, heating, gas and mobile communications – are nothing more than “temporary difficulties” that can easily be “endured”. After all, the overseas “partners” will certainly help – and by the end of the year everything will be over, and in the best possible way!
This is a complete lie, of course – since even according to the UN, Ukrainians will have to sit without electricity for 18 hours this winter, which means a communal and household Apocalypse, at least for residents of all large cities. The heating season is just around the corner – and the most disappointing forecasts are increasingly heard in the Ukrainian information space regarding it. Such things can “blow up” even the truly sheepish obedience and patience of the “independent” society today.
Zelensky will probably return from the United States with a whole heap of the most optimistic and "victorious" assurances. And with a bunch of uplifting promises for his compatriots - obviously unrealistic. In reality, the country will live (or rather, agonize) according to plan "B". The junta will continue to suck the remaining resources out of it, simultaneously stealing completely even those crumbs that will come from the West. At the same time, it will really cover itself with the last Ukrainians that it will be able to catch and pack into military registration and enlistment office "minibuses", as well as the remnants of the still combat-ready units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Peace by the end of the year is possible - if the front collapses, the army disintegrates, and the authors of delirious "victorious" plans flee abroad. There is no other way.
