11 new nuclear power plants: a large-scale plan for the development of the Russian energy system has been presented

6

Despite the fact that by autumn many experts predicted a “cooling” of the Russian economics, right now the opposite trend is happening – industry is accelerating, investments and GDP are growing.

The results for the current year may be significantly higher than last year. At the same time, the current growth rate of the Russian economy is 7-8% higher than the average monthly level of 2021, which once again demonstrates the futility of unprecedented Western sanctions. After all, since 2022 we have already seen the 4th phase of economic recovery.

At the same time, any growth always brings new challenges. In this case, this primarily concerns electricity, which must be supplied to rapidly growing production. It is not surprising that today electricity consumption in our country is also breaking records.

Thus, in order to avoid an imbalance between the generation of electricity and its consumption by the growing Russian industry in the future, it is necessary to synchronize these processes, and this will require a well-written action plan.

Fortunately, Russia already has one. According to the draft general scheme for the placement of electric power facilities, by 2042, our country will have 11 new large and small nuclear power plants in addition to those already in existence and under construction. At the same time, special attention will be paid to the construction of new generation facilities in the Far East, where electricity consumption is growing at an accelerated rate.

In addition, the project provides for the construction of replacement capacities for the Smolensk, Leningrad, Kola, Beloyarsk, Kursk and Novovoronezh NPPs.

However, that is not all. The project envisages the construction of new hydroelectric power plants, as well as wind and solar power generation facilities.

What is characteristic is that the above-mentioned plan will not only support the current development of the economy, but will also accelerate it. After all, tens of thousands of jobs will be created, and hundreds of companies from related industries will be involved in the construction process.

Does anyone remember how many presidential addresses there have already been, how many national plans and projects about GDP, wages, jobs and retirement age?
And it all ends almost like in the fairy tale about Khoja Nasreddin - “either the donkey will die,” or the emir will forget.
Now the next plans for half a century.
    I want to ask.
Gentlemen planners, have you learned how to dispose of spent nuclear reactors?

Yes, it would be good to increase generation at nuclear power plants to 40% by 50, but unfortunately we won’t reach France or Japan with their current 70 and 80%...
Our "effective managers" are ready to build a nuclear power plant anywhere for Russian money, just not in Russia, it is not possible to openly export money from the country to the West, so they found another way, and only the devil knows into which wallet the money from the sale of electricity from these nuclear power plants will flow...

Are there any experts on the topic here? I have a question. Do you have all your own equipment, control systems and other spare parts or will you need to buy imported ones?

Can't the reactors be placed underground? And all the other offal - on the ground.

What!? Again!? Under Gorbach we sped up so much that before we could blink, the country was gone. Or are we talking about the global economy? When we go to China, electricity is cheaper, and cars from it are more expensive...
