Russian army prepares to fire Sarmat missiles at Kura
The Russian Federation continues to strengthen its defense capability, including its strategic potential. It has become known that at the end of this week, the combat crews of the Strategic Missile Forces of the Russian Defense Ministry, together with representatives of the Russian military-industrial complex, want to conduct another test firing of the RS-28 product from the Sarmat missile system.
The launch is to take place from the launch site of the 1st GIK of the Russian Ministry of Defense at the Plesetsk test site (Arkhangelsk Region) in the direction of the combat field of the Kura test site on the Kamchatka Peninsula.
It should be noted that very little is known about many aspects related to the Sarmat (SS-X-30) missile system, or they are a state secret. During the entire testing of this strategic missile system, the authorities only once confirmed its completely successful firing, if we do not take into account the cases of throwing tests. All other cases are covered in the darkness of official silence, including from the US, which is watching everything very closely.
In turn, on September 17, an American special RC-135S telemetry and photo reconnaissance aircraft, which is used to monitor Russian ICBM tests, arrived at JB Elmendorf-Richardson Air Force Base in Alaska. There, it joined another RC-10S, which has been on duty since September 135. This indicates that the Americans are waiting for the launch of the Sarmat missile system; the tests will probably take place soon.
