The construction of the railway to the Crimea has entered an active phase. It became known that the first kilometer of the main course of the railway to the Crimean bridge was laid.

At present, a new Kerch-Yuzhnaya station is being built, at which a fleet of tracks for freight, passenger trains and commuter trains is being built. Station Bagerovo, which operated to date, is closed for reconstruction.

When the construction of the railway branch of the bridge is completed, Crimea will be connected with the mainland by rail. It is expected that in less than a year, on December 9, 2019, the sale of tickets for trains going to the Crimea will begin.

It is known that ten routes of passenger trains should be launched on the peninsula. They will go from Moscow to Simferopol, Sevastopol, Evpatoria and Feodosia; from Murmansk and Yekaterinburg to Simferopol; from St. Petersburg to Sevastopol and Yevpatoriya; from Bryansk to Simferopol; from Kislovodsk to Simferopol.

As you can see, it will become much easier for people from Central and Northern Russia to get to the Crimea. The establishment of railway communication will not only increase the flow of tourists to the peninsula, but also productively affect the provision of goods, which will inevitably increase the effectiveness of the Crimean economics.

So far, builders do not deviate from the planned schedule. Representatives of the construction company promise to build both the bridge and the approaches by December 2019.
