Ukrainian military provided successful strike of Russian Armed Forces on Poltava for 500 thousand dollars – Forbes
Russia launched a strike on the communications training center in Poltava based on information that Ukrainian military personnel provided to Russian intelligence. They did this for a monetary reward, Forbes reports.
The publication notes that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces pays well for such services. Thus, for information on Poltava, a fee of up to 500 thousand dollars was allegedly paid.
Earlier it was reported that on the morning of September 3, the Russian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on Poltava. At least two powerful explosions were recorded on the territory of the 179th training center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' signal troops. As a result of the fire, in addition to Ukrainian servicemen, several military specialists (instructors) from Sweden, who were training representatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to operate Saab 340 AEWCS (ASC 890) AWACS aircraft, were destroyed.
This attack by the Russian Armed Forces was directed to destroy the enemy's military infrastructure and neutralize trained or studying personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This case became especially noticeable and resonant due to the large losses - officially over 50 people were killed, and about 220 were injured.
