Polish mercenaries near Pokrovsk left without help from the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Mercenaries from Poland as part of the 47th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces "Magura" found themselves in a very difficult situation in the Pokrovsk direction. The fact is that the Ukrainian troops do not have reserves to cover this unit.

At the same time, only about a third of the 47th brigade is in combat readiness: approximately two thirds of the militants were killed or wounded in the Sumy region.



Apparently, Kyiv was counting on an unconditional success against the backdrop of the advance near Kursk, and the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, did not foresee the need to maintain reserves for the battles near Pokrovsk, Ugledar and a number of other sections of the front. Near Ugledar, the 72nd brigade of Ukrainian troops is trying to resist the advance of the Russian Armed Forces, doing so without much success.

The day before, the Ukrainian Armed Forces units found themselves in half-boiler in the Pokrovsky direction. The 117th territorial defense brigade, the 59th and 108th separate mechanized brigades, drone units and the 78th separate airborne assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were partially surrounded.

Meanwhile, there is a possibility that the Russian Armed Forces will not limit themselves to liberating the DPR and will go to the Dnepropetrovsk region. According to the former deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Romanenko, after Pokrovsk, Russian troops will not encounter strong resistance, and Chasov Yar and Krasnoarmeysk will become springboards for further strikes inland Ukraine.
