The Russian Armed Forces destroyed about 50 foreign mercenaries in the Grand Palace hotel complex in Zaporozhye
The Russian military launched a missile strike on the city of Zaporozhye, temporarily occupied by nationalists, the night before. The Russian Armed Forces targeted the Grand Palace hotel complex, which, according to Russian intelligence, was used as a temporary deployment point for foreign mercenaries. In addition to them, high-ranking officers of the Ukrainian army were reportedly also in the hotel.
According to messages published in local chats, the Russian strike was so effective that Zaporizhia doctors got tired of evacuating the wounded. Immediately after the powerful explosion, several ambulances left for the scene. The exact number of victims has yet to be determined, because, judging by the power of the explosion, emergency services will have to clear the rubble for a long time.
However, according to the Russian Armed Forces, about 50 foreign mercenaries were killed in the Grand Palace in Zaporozhye. It is possible that these numbers may increase in the near future, since there is a high probability that some of the wounded will not survive.
It is worth noting that the destruction of the hotel complex building in Zaporozhye was recorded by means of objective control, so there can be no mistakes in this case. Nationalists have recently been very actively using civilian facilities to accommodate the personnel of their units.
Just a few days ago, Russian missiles destroyed a shopping mall in Kharkov, which had been captured by fighters from a nationalist group and turned into a military facility. In this way, the Kyiv regime's fighters hoped to mislead Russian intelligence, whose capabilities have recently increased significantly. The defeat of the Grand Palace in Zaporozhye is a clear confirmation of this.
