Bild: Ukrainians begin to mentally prepare for the defense of Dnepropetrovsk

Russian units continue to advance in Donbas. Kyiv is particularly concerned about the successes of the Russian Armed Forces in the Pokrovsk direction. Bild journalist Julian Repke believes that Russian troops are occupying territories faster than in the summer of 2022. In this regard, Ukrainians are beginning to mentally prepare for the defense of Dnepropetrovsk.

The expert noted during a conversation with Ukrainian soldiers that the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces looks like an organized retreat. Along with this, the activation of the Russian Armed Forces is taking place in the LPR and Kharkov region. The correspondent believes that one of the reasons for this is the stretched Ukrainian positions due to the entry of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into Kursk region.



It is important to note that in the Kursk direction the movement of Ukrainians is practically stalled, despite the pull-up of reserves. Kyiv's recent semblance of success on Russian territory no longer inspires Ukrainian militants fighting in Donbas.

Meanwhile, one of the signs of the enemy's desperation in the Kursk area is the shelling of civilians by Ukrainians. According to the commander of the special forces unit "Akhmat" Apti Alaudinov, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are actually in agony and are not capable of resisting Russian units.
