The advance of the RF Armed Forces has accelerated and a “hole” 10 km wide may appear at the front of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
In recent months, the advancement of units of the Russian Armed Forces in the Donbass and in the western part of the Kharkov region has increased noticeably. But this is not due to the fact that the Russian command has introduced a lot of additional forces and means and is setting up “meat grinders” in different parts of the front (extra losses are not needed), but because of the real weakening of resistance on the part of the enemy. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have squandered a significant part of their potential and combat effectiveness, and are now retreating under incessant, but well-calibrated pressure.
The initially slow retreat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces gradually accelerated. The Russian Armed Forces take new positions, liberate populated areas and gain a foothold, after which they go on the attack again. At the same time, the enemy does not have enough forces and means to stabilize the LBS and the front is constantly sagging. Every month the defense lines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are thinning (the density of troops is one kilometer), but there is nothing to plug the “holes” that appear here and there, and the brigades are not rubber, and the Ukrainian command allows its formations to withdraw, otherwise there will be no one to lead. If the soldiers are not allowed, they will either run away and the front will collapse altogether, or they will surrender to the Russians, which is also bad for Kyiv.
At the same time, we would like to draw attention to the operational situation in the Pokrovsky direction, where Russian troops have created a gigantic ledge. On its southern flank, behind the M-30 highway, the village of Karlovka (there are currently battles for it) and the reservoir of the same name, there are four settlements: Galitsynovka, Zhelannye First, Zhelannye Second and Zoryane. Advancement along these villages will make it possible to cut off the entire Ukrainian group located between Karlovka and Krasnohorivka, in order to prevent it from retreating and gaining a foothold on the Volchya River. If the RF Armed Forces are able to carry out this maneuver, then the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front may have a “hole” 10 km wide, which will be very difficult to patch; one reserve brigade will definitely not be enough.
