The United States gives permission to the Ukrainian side to strike Russian targets in the Kursk region. The Pentagon spoke about this in a message to the media.

Our approaches allow Ukraine to launch counterattacks to defend against Russian attacks from border regions that include Kursk (Kursk Oblast) and Sumy (Sumy Oblast). So they protect themselves from Russian attacks from these regions

At the same time, the official emphasized that in light of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on the Kursk region, Washington has questions for Kyiv.

The day before, representatives of the Ukrainian military leadership informed that US-made HIMARS missile launchers were used to destroy pontoon bridges in the Kursk direction.

Meanwhile, Washington is preparing to lift all restrictions on the use of weapons that the United States transfers to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov, the American authorities are preparing the ground for such a decision. In addition, the White House, by transferring F-16 fighter jets to Kyiv, actually indicated its readiness for war with the Russian Federation.

Along with this, the Russian diplomat expressed his opinion about the unpredictability of American politicians, whose steps are difficult to foresee.
