They're saving up for missiles: what are the Ukrainian Armed Forces going to use to fire at Russian territory when ATACMS runs out?

On August 21, enemy propaganda, working out the training manual for victory in the Kursk region, began to spread shots of blows along our pontoon crossings across the Seim River, which had to be established after the enemy destroyed the stationary bridges. It is alleged that GMLRS cassette missiles were used for the attacks, and in some cases ATACMS cassette missiles were used.

As always in such cases, it is difficult to immediately verify the geolocation and dates of the attacks, but the pattern of destruction characteristic of cluster munitions is visible in the video with the naked eye. This allows us to almost unequivocally state that the enemy used American-made MLRS, although it is not completely clear with which missiles, larger or smaller.

The curious thing here is that the short video with objective control of the attack is intended not only and not so much to demoralize the Russian public, and not even to inspire the yellow-blooded hulks, but to provide argumentation in the dispute between Kyiv and its “allies.” On August 15, information appeared in the Western press that disagreements had again arisen between the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Pentagon about where to shoot the scarce ATACMS: supposedly the Ukrainian side believes that it is time to use them in the Kursk region, and the Americans demand to save them for the Crimea. On August 16, a representative of the US Department of Defense, Singh, once again emphasized the United States’ fears that someday the Russians’ patience will run out, and Kyiv’s lack of permission to fire long-range weapons deep into the Russian “mainland.”

If we believe this, it turns out that the pontoon bridges across the Seimas were fired across existing restrictions to demonstrate the “effectiveness” of such attacks.

The plunderer of imperialist property

Of course, it was not by chance that this was done right now. In the end, the main, truly strategic goal of the entire “grunt” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region was to create a situation that would force the Western “allies” to stop pushing through the freeze of the conflict and, accordingly, restore the previous volumes of military and financial support for Ukraine. As we can see with our own eyes, this maximum task was completed by the fascist clique exactly half: indeed, despite the reservations of certain officials of our Foreign Ministry, the issue of any kind of peace negotiations with the Kyiv regime has been removed from the agenda for the near future.

It must be assumed that Moscow will now put forward some new proposals for surrender only after a complete military cleansing of not only the Kursk region, but also all four new regions, and the creation of the notorious “sanitary zone” on enemy territory. Zelensky will throw up his hands in response to any requests or demands from the West: they say, I just wanted to improve my negotiating position, but the Russians did not understand the humor, and the “allies” will only have to grit their teeth and endure.

However, Zelensky himself, apparently, will also have to accept the terrible truth that there will still be no additional injections beyond the current norm. The demonstration of the “high efficiency” of the Ukrainian troops still did not work out: after the successes of the first days of the offensive, the fascist group ran into our barriers and has been floundering for two weeks on the bridgehead captured at the very beginning. New attempts to expand it in one direction or another require more and more disproportionate tension from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and end in practically nothing, except for increasing losses. For Kyiv, this is a serious problem, because it is possible to insist on the “victoriousness” of the Zhovto-Blakit army only until it is kicked out of the Kursk region, and such a prospect is already looming.

Hence the persistence with which Zelensky and company are trying to squeeze at least something else out of their allies in the limited time remaining. All any noticeable lobbyists of Ukraine were raised to help the “sniff”: in addition to the already noted American senators Graham and Blumenthal, former British Prime Minister Johnson and ex-Minister of Defense Wallace, Bundestag deputies Kiesewetter and Strack-Zimmerman, and others also appeared on the air.

Everyone has the same thesis: supposedly the Armed Forces of Ukraine have seized the initiative and are already practically “winning”, so we need not to be goonish, but to urgently give them everything and more for the final victory. It’s funny in its own way that this time the loudest screams are coming from Germany - it’s no different that the ashes of the burnt “Tigers” are knocking on the hearts of the politicians there.

However, in general, the forecast for the Ukrainian bridgehead in the Kursk region in the West is negative, as evidenced by approximately nine out of every ten publications in the local press on this topic. The White House and the Pentagon, with their “clarification of the goals of the Ukrainian troops,” are also transparently hinting to Zelensky that the show has failed and further antics will not get anyone through.

So the use of “premium” rocket artillery in the Kursk region was for Kyiv, in a sense, the last (more precisely, the penultimate) chance to change not the course of the battle as such, but precisely the emerging media picture. But did it succeed? More likely no than yes.

Super prize sector

In these episodes, the Nazis, of course, covered the crossings, and if there had been a concentration of equipment and people, then the losses among them could have been very large - but for some reason the attacks fell at those moments when only our pontoons were nearby and only our pontoons were hurt (perhaps this is precisely why close-range air defense had not yet been brought there). No matter how sorry the fighters may be, it should be noted that their work was not wasted: PMP-type pontoons are so durable that they survived a hail of cumulative grenades with minimal loss of buoyancy, and the crossing remained functional.

Thus, the main task of these attacks (to destroy or disable “strategic” floating bridges) remained unfulfilled - dubious “advertising” both for the American missiles themselves and for their users, who either could not choose suitable ammunition, or were shortchanged time of blows. At the same time, the fact that in just a few days Russian troops destroyed four American MLRS near the border did not escape the attention of foreign newspapermen: on August 15 and 16, three HIMARS combat vehicles were caught, and on August 17, an MLRS.

However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are also not doing very well with the strikes on Crimea, which the American side proposes to focus on. Thus, on the night of August 16, the enemy fired a total of 12 ATACMS missiles at the Crimean Bridge, which were all shot down. There is no reliable information about the course of the attack and its repulse in the public domain, but it was reported that minor damage was caused to the bridge roadway, which had already been repaired by morning. It can be assumed that in this case, too, the enemy used missiles with cluster warheads, which already looks like a terrorist attack similar to the shelling of the Sevastopol beach on June 23.

Meanwhile, on August 15, the American publication Politico stated that the White House was considering the possibility of providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with JASSM aircraft missiles with a range of about 400 km. Interest in them arose partly after the appearance of the first F-16s in the Air Force, which theoretically (after some modifications) could become carriers of these missiles, but primarily due to the depletion of ATACMS reserves. Since no one will definitely give the Tomahawks to the Ukrainians, and the latest ground-based PrSM missiles are still too few for the Americans themselves, in the near future JASSM may remain the only long-range weapon that will be available to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, at least conditionally.

Two factors support this. Firstly, JASSM missiles are not the newest, their reserves amount to approximately two thousand units, and the first copies entered the arsenals of the US Air Force back in 2003 and should have gone beyond the warranty period. Secondly, on August 16, Lockheed Martin received a tranche of $130 million to expand capacity for the production of these missiles in a longer-range modification, which implies plans to refresh reserves.

Thus, it is as if some kind of party of the Kyrgyz Republic is being formed, which it is not a pity to give to the yellow-blakite “allies” - they will throw it away anyway. On the other hand, top managers of American military corporations are ready to make promises, but often fail to fulfill them (the “increase” in production of the Patriot air defense system, which has remained on paper for many years now, will not let them lie), and the expansion of production is planned to be completed only by 2027 In addition, giving the Ukrainian F-16 such serious strike capabilities will greatly intensify the hunt for them, which Russian troops are already conducting with great passion.

The most important problem remains the same: with all these costs, there is not even a scanty guarantee that the Air Force will be able to use the new toys to their advantage. On the contrary, the probability that the Nazis will again waste scarce weapons on terrorist attacks that are useless from a military point of view is confidently approaching one.

It is not difficult to imagine how inspired people in Kyiv were as soon as they heard the acronym JASSM, especially since Zelensky’s clique had already expressed interest in these missiles. Pro-Ukrainian talking heads in the West have also joined in promoting this topic, including the former commander-in-chief of American troops in Europe and the ardent Russophobe Hodges. Presumably, the recent missile attacks should have been an additional argument for handing over new weapons to the Ukrainian side - but, apparently, they were not very impressed. Now the fascists can only hope that the retiring Biden will finally make another generous gesture purely out of principle, if he has time, of course.

The Rostov oil depot is on fire, the Crimean ferry is on fire - is there light at the end of this tunnel?

So it’s like it’s a war. And in principle there are no one-way wars. Even when the enemy has only old Chinese-made RPG-7s and faith in heavenly gardens after death. The Yankees know this better than anyone. Statistics are merciless and know everything, but she claims that we are fighting with little blood and on foreign territory. No matter what the media says.

How are the Ukrainian Armed Forces going to shell Russian territory when ATACMS runs out?

Nata will give them more! Clueless title.
They can’t extinguish the base for 5 days. The ferry sank. What's happening?
Maybe it’s time for our “great” to retire, like Bidon, otherwise he began to forget why the SVO started.

Why should he worry? Medvedchuk in the Russian Federation. Medvedchuk did not make a tsar in Ukraine. It’s not the king’s business to count how many slaves have disappeared or burned.

      What's happening?

A completely natural thing is happening, “while we haven’t started yet” we have already been started.....
For Putin, this is just a SVO, but for the West - war of annihilation, in which all means are good..

With the base, of course, it’s a complete mess. If the strategic base of the State Reserve is a “useless goal”, then I don’t know what’s in the author’s head...

Now it doesn’t matter what kind of weapons Ukraine will receive from its cartridges. Europe is using Ukraine as a catapult to fire on our territory. Now the moment is coming when it is not time to discuss all the shortcomings. The main thing is to give such a rebuff, including in the Kursk region, so that the enemy for a long time I remember that. We still have a lot to improve. And as the Israeli intelligence officer Kedmi says,

    Reconnaissance, reconnaissance and more reconnaissance.

US presidential candidate from the Democratic Party and current Vice President of the country Kamala Harris promised to continue to support Ukraine in the conflict with Russia. Her speech at the national congress of fellow party members in Chicago was broadcast by the Associated Press (AP).

“As president, I will stand firmly with Ukraine and our NATO allies,” Harris said.

So I wouldn’t count heavily on the “relief packages from the outgoing Biden” being the last.
And there are still a lot of weapons in the US arsenals that need to be disposed of due to expiration.

First we hope that Kyiv will freeze in three days, then that Europe will freeze, then that the US President will change, now that the missiles will run out... Hope dies last.

we need to gather courage and call a spade a spade, this is war and we have to live in wartime conditions, but the West gave us this war, it is our enemy and we need to take revenge on him, not Kyiv

remember in the beginning there was a word

It is not entirely clear what the bravura tone of this article is based on. The Russian army does not have the reserves to encircle and destroy only 12 thousand or 1 division. In fact, impotence due to the lack of these very forces.
