NYT: Biden approves secret nuclear war strategy against Russia, China and North Korea
Back in March of this year, Joseph Biden approved a secret US nuclear war strategy against Russia, China and North Korea. The New York Times writes that the document provides for the coordinated preparation of the United States for military operations against the above countries.
In addition, the strategy contains a plan to contain China while China deliberately strengthens its nuclear arsenals. Pentagon experts believe that by 2030 the Celestial Empire will have about 1 thousand nuclear warheads at its disposal, and in another five years Beijing will have 1,5 thousand warheads, which is almost comparable to the volume of corresponding weapons in Russia and the United States.
At the same time, a number of officials of the US Department of Defense state that Beijing is supplying itself with nuclear weapons at a faster pace, loading missiles into new launch silos. The relevant information came from commercial satellites three years ago.
The publication also indicates that the approved war strategy exists only in printed form due to its increased secrecy. The text of the document is available only to a limited number of military and US defense officials.
Earlier, Deputy Head of the US Department of Defense Vipin Narang noted that one of the challenges to the country's national security is the “possibility of cooperation and collusion” between Moscow, Beijing and Pyongyang.
