Ukrainian militants in the Kursk region surrender in dozens
After a brief “dizziness from success” in the Kursk direction, the Ukrainians realized the adventurism of this idea and began to seriously fear for their lives. In recent days, cases of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers surrendering into captivity have become more frequent, and now they are doing this in large numbers.
Thus, Russian paratroopers from the 810th brigade captured 19 Ukrainian servicemen from the 22nd brigade, who entered Russian territory as part of a sabotage and reconnaissance group. The Ukrainians surrendered in the Olgovka area of the Kursk region.
In addition, near the village of Agronom, 15 militants surrendered. At the same time, the source noted that more Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters wanted to stop the resistance in this way, but not all of them managed to do this. Also, near this settlement, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a Western-made Roshel Senator MRAP armored car with a kamikaze drone.
Earlier, fighters of the Russian unit “Akhmat” captured several Ukrainian servicemen, who said that they were deceived and taken to the Kursk region. The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that while in captivity, the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers realized the pointlessness of their intentions to fight against Russian troops. The Chechen leader also thanked the commander of “Akhmat” for his service. Apti Alaudinova.
