Iskander-M destroyed an aircraft carrying Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG missiles while preparing for departure

Operators of the Iskander OTRK managed to catch a Ukrainian Su-24 bomber at the Dnepr airfield of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnepropetrovsk region. The strike took place while the aircraft was preparing for a combat mission.

The Ministry of Defense published objective control footage that captured the moment the enemy aircraft was hit. Upon arrival technical personnel suspended aircraft weapons (Storm Shadow missiles) to the aircraft pylons.




Suspended ammunition and full fuel tanks added power to the Su-24's detonation. It is obvious that in addition to the aircraft itself, ground equipment and personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces air base were destroyed.

The plane was probably preparing to make another attempt to attack Crimea. Let us remind you that last night air defense systems were intercepted 12 Anglo-French Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG cruise missiles in the Kerch area.

In addition, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Su-34 crew of the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed a rare Ukrainian S-35 air defense system in the Sumy region with a Kh-125 guided missile.
