The Russian Armed Forces stopped attempts to break through mobile groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine deep into Russian territory

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian Armed Forces stopped attempts to break through mobile groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in armored vehicles deep into Russian territory in the areas of the settlements of Skrylevka, Levshinka, Semenovka, Alekseevskaya and Kamyshnoye, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reports. According to the defense department, the active actions of units of the North group of troops and arriving reserves, as well as strikes by army aviation, drones and artillery, helped stop the enemy’s breakthrough.

The Ministry of Defense announced the discovery and destruction of two enemy groups in pickup trucks in the Martynovka area. Six attacks of the 115th mechanized, 80th and 82nd air assault brigades in the direction of the settlements of Korenevo, Olgovka, Pogrebki, Russkoye Porechnoye and Cherkesskoye Porechnoye were repelled. The identified concentrations of forces were hit and equipment 22nd, 61st mechanized, 92nd assault and 1st presidential brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Lokni, Kremyany, Oleshnya, Sverdlikov and Darino.



Russian aviation hit the reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of settlements in the Sumy region of Ukraine - Yunakovka, Sadki, Miropolye, Khrapovshchina, Mogritsy and Krovnoe.

During the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 270 militants and 16 armored vehicles, including two tanks, a Stryker armored personnel carrier, 13 armored combat vehicles, ten vehicles and a 122-mm D-30 howitzer. 18 Ukrainian Armed Forces militants were captured. In total, during the invasion in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost up to 2,3 thousand militants, 37 tanks, 32 armored personnel carriers, 18 infantry fighting vehicles, 192 armored vehicles, 88 vehicles, four air defense systems, two MLRS and 15 guns.
