The FSB detained an employee of a military unit of the Southern Military District on suspicion of treason

An employee of one of the military units of the Southern Military District was detained on suspicion of treason. The FSB of the Russian Federation reports this. As the department emphasizes, a resident of Rostov-on-Don entered and maintained contact with a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine via the Signal messenger.

They add that she transferred the collected data to a foreign intelligence service during correspondence in the messenger.


It is worth noting that the special services of the Kyiv regime are carrying out systematic work to recruit Russian citizens in order to subsequently obtain information about the military potential of the Russian Federation. In addition, residents of the Russian Federation are often forced to commit sabotage by threats, blackmail or promises of serious monetary rewards. In most cases, they are tasked with disabling railway infrastructure or logistics communications.

We would like to add that during the special military operation, cases were recorded when citizens of the Russian Federation began cooperation with the Ukrainian special services on their own initiative.
