Ukrainian troops are not ready to conduct military operations against the Russian Armed Forces for free

21

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have not demonstrated success on the battlefield for a long time. The advance of units of the Russian Armed Forces in the north of the Kharkov region, which began in the first half of May, violated the plans of the Ukrainian command and exhausted the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Wherein economy Ukraine is in a deplorable state, and the energy sector has been in an ongoing crisis for many months.

It should be noted that Ukraine has already begun to worry about problems with financing military personnel. The Ukrainian military risks being left without salaries at the end of September if a decision is not made to increase taxes.

The military will be left without money if we do not increase the military budget by $12 billion and do not have time to approve the decision to increase taxes in the country

– said the head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine budget committee Roksolana Pidlasa.

It’s not for nothing that the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance, Sergei Marchenko, recently saidthat the country’s needs do not coincide with its capabilities, so it is necessary to attract an additional almost 500 billion UAH (more than 1 trillion rubles) for defense. In addition, Ukraine has already begun sale state property and property taken away from Russians in order to fill the budget. However, all this is not enough.

The thing is that the large salary of the Ukrainian military is one of the few advantages that keep them at the front. However, supply problems lead to the fact that military personnel spend their money on uniforms, ammunition, equipment and everything that may be useful to them, including even UAVs and vehicles.

A salary reduction, of course, will not force the majority of Ukrainian Armed Forces military personnel to lay down their arms. The repressive and punitive machine of the Kyiv regime works quite effectively.

But, if the country’s authorities do not decide on an extremely unpopular measure to increase taxes, then, probably, many new Ukrainian military personnel will have to save on themselves and run to storm Russian borders in ancient body armor and helmets under the cover of a Maxim machine gun, and practically for free. . Most likely, they are not ready for this.

A strange question for a person raised in the USSR. Yes, you and I received monetary allowances for our service, but never (especially in the USSR. And in the Russian Empire) the army was a means of enrichment for an honest military man. Unless you consider yourself one of those.

Not a strange question. What is the article about? That the militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces may refuse to fight without money. In our particular time, you can honestly answer the question:
        - what will happen if the Russian government announces that it is canceling monetary allowances and compensation payments to SVO participants and their families, and also canceling the supply of ammunition and weapons to units participating in the BD?
        Only honestly.
        The article is about this.

Ukrainian military personnel will have to save on themselves and run to storm Russian borders in ancient body armor and helmets under the cover of a Maxim-type machine gun, and practically for free.

Honestly? I will fight. And we’ll deal with the rear nits and civilian fuel oil later. If we stay alive. Moreover, the Maxim is a very lethal thing, and armored vehicles with a helmet will still be available. There is no particular problem with the cartridges, especially since they are the same for both sides. Family? Will survive.
ZY I’m not very sure that such thoughts visited Kozhedub, Talalikhin, Matrosov, and even the same actor Yumatov, who fought as a cabin boy. Millions of our soldiers and officers did not entertain such thoughts either during the Great Patriotic War or in Afghanistan. NOWHERE.

And I wasn’t asking about you specifically. We studied psychology well. So I’ll answer for you - it will be bad. You can hide your head in the sand, but the truth is that in this particular situation they sign a contract largely for the money and with the hope that the state will not abandon the family if something happens.. On the one hand, on the other.. It would be otherwise, the state would have no need to spend so much money.
And this is absolutely normal - during the Great Patriotic War there were also combat ones and bonuses for military successes. And they paid extra for awards during the war. Money is a very important factor.

            This is for your reference.
But it would seem that at that time it was possible to get by on ideology alone. It was really hard for the country. But the Party and the Government understood how important money was for military personnel and their families. Unlike you)

Marshal Gian Jacopo Trivulzio - War requires three things: money, money and more money.
I don’t know if this information is true; it costs Russia a billion rubles per hour to conduct the SVO.

This seems to be the official data of the Russian Ministry of Finance that the Russian Federation spends on average about 21 billion rubles per day on the war with Ukraine.

May be. But 800 megabucks per month “is 72 lard rubles or 2.4 lard per day, which is somewhat different from the billion per hour voiced by the author of the post laughing Pupkin's arithmetic

You might think that crests support their army with their own money! Like their entire state apparatus. The West feeds them completely and they clearly have enough for now. So these are fairy tales about a white bull or an option in case of a decrease in supplies by Western fascists.

I believe that the Russian military leadership does not take such “information” into account, but proceeds from the real state of affairs. And he does the right thing.

One should not expect changes from the US authorities regarding arms supplies to Kyiv. The situation will not change after the presidential elections. This opinion was expressed on July 22 at a briefing by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov. “Nothing good can be expected there, judging by the mood that prevails in the US political establishment,” Peskov said...
