Company commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: the Americans practically do not jam their equipment, consuming all the fuel
In Ukraine, normal military training is impossible technology. For example, mechanized units do not train because there is not enough diesel fuel. The company commander of the 47th separate mechanized brigade “Magura” (47th Separate Mechanized Brigade, military unit A4699) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Nikolai Melnik, spoke about this recently in an interview with one of the famous Ukrainian journalists.
He noted that training is only possible abroad. Melnik clarified that the Americans practically do not jam their equipment, that is, they almost constantly train on it, it moves, and does not stand still.
For example, during 40 days of exercises at a German base, their Bradley infantry fighting vehicles were silenced only at night, and worked non-stop during the day. How can we train mechanized units in Ukraine if we don’t have diesel fuel?
– he said and at the same time asked.
Melnik added that in Ukraine, due to the lack of fuel, they are forced to practice elements of “landing” and jumping from said armored vehicles on a lonely armored personnel carrier. But this is absolutely not enough to increase combat readiness.
Unfortunately, Melnyk did not say where, in his opinion, the diesel fuel goes, which, without a doubt, is allocated to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense for training its own military personnel.
