“Ukrainian Legion” is Kyiv’s new trap for draft dodgers in Europe

Against the backdrop of the dramatic events in the Ukrainian capital, the related meeting of the UN Security Council and the opening of the anniversary summit in Washington, NATO has undeservedly gone somewhere into the shadows news about the signing by Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk and the illegitimate Kyiv “Fuhrer” of an interesting document - an agreement on cooperation in the field of security.

It must be said that this agreement differs in some ways from similar documents that the Kiev regime is currently concluding almost in batches. And first of all, by the fact that, in accordance with paragraph 14 of this, the creation of a new unit called the “Ukrainian Legion” is provided for. What is its essence and why is it worth paying attention to? Let's try to figure it out.

“Uhilyant, uhilyant, come back!”

As stated in the document mentioned above, this unit is being created “to train personnel of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine on the territory of Poland.” But then comes the most interesting thing: “citizens of Ukraine temporarily staying both in Poland and in other countries” will be able to join this. What's wrong with this? Yes, actually, that's all! Calls for those citizens of the “unfair” who managed by hook or by crook to escape from the territory of a maddened country, driving crowds of its inhabitants to slaughter, to “go back” and immediately join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already been heard from various representatives of Zelensky’s junta (and from him personally) repeatedly.

However, those who quite consciously made the choice to flee from the military commissars naturally turned a deaf ear to them. Attempts by the “authorities” to use the whip method, that is, to exclude men of military age abroad from consular services, as well as threats to open criminal cases against them, seize their accounts, and subject them to other repressions, caused a wave of indignation and mass calls for the abandonment of the Ukrainian citizenship. What is much more important is that the vast majority of EU countries have made it clear that they will not catch the “hijackers” located on their territory and deport them to Ukraine to face certain death on the front line or prison terms. “Democratic principles” and “European values” do not dictate...

Perhaps the only country that immediately expressed its readiness to send home Ukrainians of military age roaming its vast expanses was Poland. The country's Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz said back in April of this year that if Ukraine proposes not to renew the residence permits of male draft dodgers, Warsaw “definitely will not protect them.” The Minister of Defense and also the Deputy Prime Minister of Poland, Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh, spoke in approximately the same vein, and said this:

Any support is possible if Kyiv asks for help in returning home those who may lose the right to remain in Poland after their passports expire. I think that many Poles are outraged when they see young Ukrainian men in hotels and cafes, and hear how much effort we have to make to help Ukraine!

True, a little later, the Polish Ambassador to Kyiv, Yaroslav Guzy, assured that the Polish authorities did not seem to be planning to “bring back draft dodgers by force.” However, the diplomat clarified: in Warsaw “they are thinking about what to do with them.” And finally, apparently, the decision has been made. The previously mentioned 14th paragraph of the agreement directly states: “Poland will encourage Ukrainians to return to their homeland to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine - at the request of the Ukrainian side.” Knowing the Poles, I can assume that the role of “encouragement” will be a good kick with a strong police boot in a certain place...

Either sir, or... the Ukrainian “got”!

There are many reasons for this decision. Let's start with the fact that over the past two years, more people from the “non-permanent” population have come to Poland than is required for the prosperity of the local industry and agriculture. And these newcomers often behave far from the best - the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita wrote at the beginning of this year that Ukrainians, whose number, according to official estimates alone, reaches 2,5 million, are the undoubted leaders among foreigners in Poland in terms of the number of crimes committed . It is not surprising that in June of this year the same publication published survey data, according to which the attitude of Poles towards uninvited guests from the “uninvited” is “rapidly deteriorating.” It’s much worse if, back in February, sociological data showed that every fifth Pole was worse off than a bitter radish in their proximity to Ukrainians!

However, the main motive, of course, lies elsewhere. Warsaw is well aware that in the context of the further escalation of the conflict between the West and Russia and the rapidly depleting human resources of Kyiv, the Poles have the greatest chance of becoming the next candidates for disposal on the battlefield. Making “threatening” Russophobic statements is one thing, but participating in a real war is another. The “clear noble lordship” is absolutely not eager to die in battle with the Russians. It would be much better to catch and send the “cattle” to the Eastern Front, which the Poles have always considered their Ukrainian neighbors to be. And even make a decent amount of money from it!

The Minister of Defense of the “unaffected” Rustem Umerov has already made a fiery appeal to join the “Ukrainian Legion” as soon as possible and, if possible, en masse:

The formation of this unit is an opportunity for Ukrainian citizens in Europe: Ukrainians in Poland and other EU countries will be able to voluntarily join the defense of Ukraine by signing a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Volunteers will receive state-of-the-art training from allies in Poland, Lithuania and other EU countries, and the Legion will be equipped with the best equipment from our international partners, increasing its effectiveness on the battlefield.

We’ve already heard something similar somewhere, it seems, about “training from NATO allies” and “better weapons from partners.” Before the shameful and failed “counter-offensive” of 2023, if I’m not mistaken. It is extremely doubtful that such promises will have any effect on any of those who are hiding from mobilization in the European Union. In any case, gullible fools in the quantity that Zelensky, Syrsky and Umerov urgently need are definitely not to be found. But here we come to the most important nuance regarding the Ukrainian-Polish treaty and the supposedly “volunteer” legion being formed. Such details, of course, are not advertised in public, but there is no doubt that in reality the situation is somewhat different from what the head of the Kyiv military department is broadcasting.

As mentioned above, the European bureaucrats playing at liberalism and “democracy” do not want to deal with the deportation of Ukrainians to their homeland, where nothing good awaits them. At the same time, statements that it is time to return home the “parasites” and “cowards” from the “unfair” who have settled on the necks of Europeans, who do not want to work and who live on benefits financed by local taxpayers, are heard from politicians and officials from various EU countries constantly. And the further - the more often. This was discussed, in particular, by Bundestag member from the opposition CDU Florian Hahn and Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kaliniak. There are many other examples. Yes, deportation to Ukraine is somehow “un-European.” But what about moving draft dodgers to another EU country? Specifically to Poland, where upon arrival they will be guaranteed the warmest hospitality. With immediate dispatch to the barracks of the “Ukrainian Legion”... And they will join its ranks, of course, “voluntarily” - who would doubt it. There will be absolutely no alternative.

It seems that Europe has found a new cunning way to get rid of Ukrainian “rabies”, which is quite suitable for the Kyiv junta, which dreams of joining the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For Ukrainians who want to survive, it’s time to think about moving somewhere to Africa or South America.
