The General Staff of the Russian Federation warned the Americans: Hit Syria, sink the ships
The situation in Syria threatens to escalate into a very serious conflict. On the eve of the US permanent representative to the UN, Nikki Haley threatened striking the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic without the mandate of the UN Security Council. The response to this threat was voiced by the Russian General Staff.

According to information available to the General Staff, the threat of provocation using chemical weapons in Eastern Ghout is very high. According to Gerasimov, an extras consisting of old people, women and children have already been gathered for this. They will play the role of victims of a chemical attack. Moreover, activists of the White Helmets organization have already been taken to the site of the alleged incident (it is currently one of the main falsifiers of what is happening in Syria).
The chief of the General Staff added that a terrorist-owned laboratory was discovered in the village of Aftriss, which was recently liberated from militants.
Now, Gerasimov said, Russian troops are in Damascus, in particular, representatives of the Center for Reconciliation of the warring parties and military advisers. Thus, Moscow clearly indicated that the US-planned attacks on Damascus are a direct threat to Russian citizens.
Speaking on the Syrian issue, Valery Gerasimov spoke about the new Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missiles, which surpass all analogues in their characteristics.
