Massive protests against the regime of President Omar al-Bashir continue in the capital of Sudan, Khartoum. He has ruled the country for thirty years. In the West, especially in the US, Bashir is treated negatively, calling him a dictator.

At least 10 people were killed during clashes between demonstrators and security forces. The opposition speaks of 22 dead.

As for the fighters of the Wagner PMC, they, according to the Sudanese opposition and the Western press, can assist government troops in suppressing popular protests.

In addition, according to the Times, the Russian PMC assisted the Sudanese military intelligence in training its employees.
